James Stewart Clearing Wall Jump + Crash Daytona Supercross 2011 HD

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Since I was in such awe at this guys performace at Daytona I thought I would take the time and upload a few of my favourite moments from his race at Daytona in the 2011 season.
The first part is him absolutely flying around the track jumping OVER the wall rather than hitting it like every other rider including Reed and Villipoto were doing.
The second is his unfortunate crash.
The 3rd is him STILL clearing the wall even after his crash.
And the last clip is the cheer the crowd gave him at the end.

What always gets me about the crash is how early RC spots it. James is barely in the air and RC is already in panic mode... just shows how much of a racers brain he had, he was right there with James on the bike and could feel the mistake as though it was his. Us viewers just respond to Ricky and the panic rev

Thanks for posting this...i had retired from motocross...in 2000...made a run at 37 to go pro...so after 2001 i didnt wanna see mx racin..i missed all of james Chad an RC on the 4 strokes..an Dungy an Villo missed it all...so this was cool to see how bad ass bubba was....i started the scrub thing in 1991 just because i hadnt learned how to soak up a jump face so i just started...turning the bike into a whip...an looking for a tree root to seat bounce off before shooting high up in the air i got to see bubba on a KX 60 an he at 8 years old already jumped like mcgrath...which i fanally put time in an learn a year before i retired....mcgraths trick was slamming the front fork down an pushing it thru the launch but not letting it rebound so u naturally just fly on a lower flite pattern best of all ur dialed in for the landings. .that was on a 2 stroke where u could spin the rear real easy so that helped diffuse the launxh too....bubba was doing it at 9 years old at dade city...i was standing a few feet from james senior

I love Jeff's niave thiking 'unless Poto's mechanic and put it on his pit sign to do that jump, James will pull away'... lol Poto would not have done that jump regardless. It was gnarly as hell and Stewart had a unique gift of finding weird little lines like that. If he could have kept it on two wheels this race, it would have been one for the books, similar to his Toronto supercross win where he was doing entire sections nobody was doing. I still watch SX and MX but its not the same anymore, nobody is willing to put everything on the line like he was. Hopefully someday we will see someone that is willing to push it to another level.

I assure you it is not. Well I share it on my account I think so whatever. No one was or will be close I suppose. Hat are of finally after years of hate on all he did. Nothing since 09, quitter, "old" (by 27 even). He was just above and he is missed and I hate that people had to keep denying what we all will see again since - he sure missed out lately, but his impact is on film and it would not have been 5 years earlier. That is a blessing since man he dominated mx and sx for years and was so so close to more titles and another perfect season.

Chad's crash was equally that BURLY I agree reed & stewart are the top two riders on the circuit its only fitting that they're both renegade iron men of the sport

I remember seeing this on TV when it happened, Bubba had a bad streak of pushing so freaking hard he would crash, him and Ricky man the Fucking Goats!

I would’ve loved to see JS7 go up against Travis Pastrana in his racing prime. They were such similar riders. Faster than anybody else and exciting to watch, but had a tendency to push it too far not thinking of the big picture and crash themselves out.

He’s the best? 😂😂😂😂 alrighty bud. I love S&M bikes and ride a credence currently, but to say he’s the best is absolutely ridiculous. Doing a couples quads and lined others didn’t isnt that impressive when he usually wrecked. MC RC RV RD
