It was ruled by AMA that the only way Tomac could get would get the million is if nothing went to Savatgy. If that hadn't been the ruling I'm sure he would have seen at least some of it.

Eli Tomac deserve's to win this race after winning the 1st and the 2nd race, Savatgy let him pass cause he too knew that Eli deserves it. " Respect "

@@SpaceRanger187 There are interviews with Joey where he says they didn't give him a dime. Almost wouldn't even acknowledge it. I think that has more to do with John Tomac than Eli... But that's supposedly how it went down.

I'm actually still a big ET3 fan. We all make bone head moves from time to time (if that's what happened) I think, if memory serves me correctly, the Savatgy interview was with Matthes.

That was some of the best riding I have ever seen in my life wd840, savatagy must of let him go because he prob would of wiped him out or landed on him. Man that kxf 450 couldn't of went and faster, great job by there mechanics on not having that bike blow up or suspension rip out off the frame,triple clamps and steering head. 110/100

Eli just won another million when he won the super cross championship

Here to look at after round 2 of smx and jett letting kenny by! Im sure the ama was so pissed having to pay out 2 mill, 1 mill to the fan and 1 mill to tomac... and at the same place snack pack zack changed the trajectory of savatgy career after the second to last corner smash for the 250 championship! Hes never been the same rider since. Kind of crazy now looking back on that and all of this. Jett getting all this hate when ktm did it for a championship. It was done for monstercup, and a few more obvious times... most famous, let broc bye... spelled incorrectly like they did on the pit board. Ama, feld, mx sports have been screwing riders over for far to long. Think if nfl or mlb, nba players had to a entrance fee to put on the show-events-sports that make the promoters millions. This smx is a step in the right direction. The next step needs to be that no one that races any feld or mx sports ama pro sx-mx-smx races has to pay a damn entree fee! If the riders legit got together and pulled a walk out, it would change right away. Especially if it was the day of day of A1. I hope that i see that change in my life time and i trully believe that we will

Savatgy got screwed all the way around...the AMA allowed the bs take-out by Osbourne in the 250 championship, and then dumped by Kawi after showing he out-rode Eli in this event in the final round. HUGE Tomac fan, but this was team orders and I suspect Eli gave him $$ props....you actually can't admit to throwing a race, but that is what happened.

I'm an ET3 fan but, I honestly feel like the team made some deal with the guy who won the million. I kinda feel like it had something to do with charity or something because I think either way, ET3 was going to pass SV17. I remember how much a deal the fans made that year about the pullover. I think there was way more to the story than the public eye can see or something.

eli and his dad told savatgy they were going to give him a large chunk of the money for pulling over and letting eli win the million dollars but then went back on that promise and gave savatgy nothing and never thanked him for pulling over either and was a total dick to savatgy for the one year he was with kawasaki.given his time again savatgy said he would not have pulled over and let eli pass..
