Steber was a great singer of the music of Berlioz. I would say her singing of his music was on the same level as her Mozart performances - which is to say the finest level. Her recording of the song cycle Les Nuits D'Ete is spectacular .
She is very impressive, and with an unexpected low register.
Magnificent singing. I would love to hear the duet with Chorèbe.
