so the statue is of a character named messmer as it said on the right side of the collectors edition bundle "Statue of messmer the impaler" while miquella was the blonde they showed at the end of the trailer and we have seen him before in the first promo art they showed where he is on the horse

Messmer was Malenia's right hand man, so to speak, during the battle against Raddahn and his forces. The blonde at the end was Queen Marika. Miquella wasn't shown, other than his arm in the cocoon. I'm sure we will see him in the DLC.

This ain’t no damn DLC. This damn near is a sequel. The boss name is Mesmer . He could be the other half of Miquella. The woman on the Throne could be St.Trina .

I kinda feel like Mesmer the impaler is Miquellas alias for what hes become after Mohgs corruption. I kinda hope im wrong tho its not what i want for Miquellas character. Also mesmer refers to an illusionist or someone that can hypnotize or attract and that very much fits Miquellas character.

While Miquella himself sits whole outside the shadow realm. Description also states that Marika appeared in the shadow realm FIRST . Upon leaving it , could that be how she was able to split herself in the starter realm

That’s not Miquella. It’s a new character called Messmer the impaler. Miyazaki stated in a new interview that we’re actually following in Miquellas footsteps and basically following him.

This new Mesmer guy could be another radagon/marika situation where this is miquella’s alter ego. Or this could be another child of marika entirely. There are butterflies in the game that represent the children of marika. The Aeonia butterfly is malenia, the nascent butterfly is miquella (nascent meaning something new or young and miquella was cursed with eternal youth), and the third butterfly is the smoldering butterfly, which we always find around fires. And they look a lot like Mesmer’s fireish attacks. If that is the case, then Fromsoftware has been teasing a third child since the beginning.

I think the weird lion chimera is related to godwyn in some way (or is godwyn in a different form). It wields lightning which is godwyn's staple element, but also seems to have deathblight breath which also fits his current situation. Not to mention what looks to be blonde hair, and the flesh that looks old and decayed.
