Idk, I have hope you’re right but the original collectors edition of elden ring had Malenia as the statue and she was the true secret boss, so if they’re following the same path, the same could be said for Messmer

@@MrTweety4587 While that is true they usually never show the true final boss of the DLC in the trailer. Think of stuff like Artorias/Maria who were poster-people of their DLC and the final final bosses Manus/Orphan not being showcased anywhere before meeting them.

That lion creature boss looks like the dragons used in traditional Chinese New Year celebrations. You can see some sort of humanoid figure inside the beast, moving the jaw and stepping around. The creature may have been some sort of Omen that was slain and then built into this horrific puppet abomination, with the user cloaked within. Absolutely wicked.

The dog that looks like Serosh is I’m guessing Miquella’s version of maliketh/blaidd. In the lore, Ranni, Miquella, Malenia, and Marika all have them. Marika’s being Maliketh and Ranni’s being Blaidd

Didn’t Godfrey met Serosh in the place called the Badlands? It’s also where the Hero class that players can start with comes from.

I think it’s a similar world as when you enter Godweyn’s realm and fight Fortissax. What we play is like a mind realm of Miquella and is maybe his ideal world. The erdtree that we see is just his completed version of what he was building in the mountaintops of the giants.

The tree is ‘eclipsing’ the other one (castle sol) Miquella wanted to use the ‘eclipse’ to try to give godwyn his soul back. Although there is a lot to do with the crucible in the trailer so the tree could also have something to do with that

I think the person at the beginning is the one speaking at the end about touching the withered arm to enter the shadow realm, it could be the spirit of miquella or someone aligned with him to help in whatever miquella is trying to do there.

U introduced me to elden ring and your gameplay and videos made me buy it and I have now platinumed it twice, so watching you react to this gets me hyped for u to play the dlc. Thx for introducing me to such an amazing game jev

What’s crazy to think about is, this is Fromsofts biggest expansion, and I say expansion because it is, with it being 40 dollars, not including tax. To get a better understanding, their previous expansions were around 10-20 dollars, with the average being 15 dollars. This is looking to be the best dlc of the year, I cannot wait
