@@NBABY-J and the Elantra N traps 105 stock… that’s 10mph trap difference. Or to put it in racing terms, buses. There isn’t even 10mph trap difference between a Scat Pack and a Hellcat. You’re playing yourself if you think they even noticed you besides wondering why your car sounds broken, since that’s what “crackle” tunes tend to elicit from most people.

@@NBABY-J Not salty, I have not reason to be, I daily drive a 480rwhp B58 my brother. Trapping in the 120s. Brilliant straight six exhaust note. My new wheels and tires came in for the summer yesterday. Feeling good. So… not salty at all toward a Kia. I’m simply calling this for the reality it is, you weren’t in a race. Even if I grant that you could trap 108 stock, even in your scenario, we’re talking about 7mph trap disparity. Thats a bus in a race. You’re just driving like a weirdo at some poor old in their luxury EV. When you post a click bait title and this is what you present, prepare to be caught out for capping. If you lined up and counted off or there was ANY reason to believe that person was racing you, well then you’d have something. That’s why I clicked your video, hoping for something interesting 💀 I’d love to see an actual race with your car. Try a WRX or GTi or something along those lines, that might be entertaining actually.

@@NBABY-J Thanks, I love my 340i even though there are so many faster things these days. I think you’re getting so much flack because people aren’t seeing what they clicked to see. There is an implication in how you worded the title… so you get a bunch of jaw in the comments. The disconnect is how you presented it and what the content actually was. Most of us probably got it in our feeds because we watch racing videos. My expression of wanting to see something in a similar class as you EN was real. I see you’re getting piled on since Kia isn’t well respected in the car world. Thats not cool and I’m sorry to contribute. You love your car and that’s awesome. You should. If it makes you happy, fuck it. But if you want to have a channel and get positive engagement, I do suggest trying to fish for more serious comparisons. If I clicked it and maybe you took them off the line and it felt they were trying to face off (totally possible since both sport a 4.8 0-60) but you know they probably blow by after 60 and you had a good laugh, that’s good content. Or you race someone who wants to and engages that’s good content. Even getting killed is good content. I don’t do videos myself but thinking on when I had the most fun as a car guy. One of those times was when I ran into an e63s AMG on the highway when my 340i was new (and this still stock). I knew what would happen but I had to see it myself. So I poked the bear. I wish I had it on tape because I’ve never been left in the dust so badly before. MF was even for .75 of a second then it was like light speed. In about 4 seconds I had a bus on me 💀 and it was hilarious and fun. You don’t have to act like your car is faster than something it’s objectively not to have a good time and produce quality content. I’ll even sub and hope you can have something like that someday.

So much hate here. The EN does a fantastic job for what it is, people coming to talk trash have never owned one and will continue to regurgitate how whatever they buy for 3 or 4 times the price is better. Car enthusiasts should be ecstatic that something like this exists at such an affordable cost. Instead they're constantly seen typing in the comments about how the engine will blow up in 6 months. (years later, motor is going strong)

Lmao, that Taycan may be soulless, but it's electric... As much as I love the Elantra N, it would've smoked you in a roll race if he hit the juice pedal hard.

@@rikaro1986 very hard answer. But it comes down to this. If I’m on street definitely EN. If I’m going to the track then Fk8. Both very capable in either street or track, just my preference. My 2019 fk8 has 31k miles, my EN23 has 15k on the dash. My fk8 is full bolt on🌽 roughly 401hp but my EN slightly walks it on the street. At the same track tho my fk8 dominates my EN.

I want to race an Elantra N so bad. Had a few people say they would smoke me and I refuse to believe that.

@@NBABY-J Yeah 11.5 at 120 mph on draggy app. 0-60 in 3.4 with all seasons I need more traction burn all 4 tires. But yeah I would only race a stage 2+ elantra N.

That other guy is right. Elantra is very ugly and aging poorly already. I was in the market for one, but now considering Golf GTI mk7.5 its a timeless design and with a harmless apr tune makes 320hp. Congrats tho OP for getting your fun 4banger, they do sound really good tho straight from the factory and theres nothing like that stock sound

For this owner of the Elantra N to think a 2.0 single turbo pumping 289 horsepower maybe with around 310 torque. Can face off against a Porsche! Homie he wasn't racing you more like in a sense telling you if you want to race I'm not going to do it because I'm not going to embarrass you right now. 😂 If that car cannot defeat a naturally aspirated mustang V8 bro don't race Porsches and embarrass yourself -_-.a turbo doesn't really make you all that fast 😉 throw away that baby four-cylinder put in a V6 or a V8 there you go. @@NBABY-J first of all you should check your grammar. Second of all everyone knows a 2.0 turbo will have a quicker pickup acceleration than a V6 or even that of a V8 if they're naturally aspirated. But what it doesn't have is top speed! You claim your car is fast but in my opinion that's the only thing it has for itself acceleration. If I was you bro come on now I would rather have top speed than acceleration You're going 155 others can do 180 MPH 195MPH. It's like a Tesla plat track model taking on a Bugatti Chiron 300+ super sport. The Tesla takes the lead up to around 180 175 mph then the super sport destroys the Tesla That's all she wrote.

@@NBABY-J Also the Porsche taycan has either 321 horsepower depending on the model to 616 horsepower its acceleration is 2.6 much faster than yours with a top speed of 161. And you only have 155 that's what I mean You're comparing your car to all these other vehicles not knowing you're stepping your boundaries brother. That Porsche did not want to embarrass you. that's why he did not want to race you he was not discouraged or afraid of your Hyundai Elantra N. That goes 0 to 60 in 4.5 around there.
