Thanks for your kind words. There's a lot of dirty money to be made cheering for crypto and its pushers, like our regime. But dirty money and a barren country is not a heritage I think most people would want to leave to the their children. Cheers!

I don’t often watch the same KZread twice in two days or comment bomb like a spambot, but this interview is an absolute banger and deserves some love from the algorithm.

This podcast has the possibility of getting really big. I've never really had an interest with crypto but stumbled across the Luna episode and two weeks later and I've listened to every episode some of the episodes are just as good as any true crime podcast. Also them being critical but having in dept knowledge and having a real interest in the area helps. The dynamic between the hosts is great. I'm 100% buying the book they are working on the first day. I'm rooting for them to have the success they deserve.

As much as it is horrifying, I feel like these cultists are just people who will find any way to make some money, just like corporations, big pharma and governments do to us without the slightest care of repercussion or negative effect it has on us in the name of profit. I simply can't blame them even though I wouldn't believe in this crap myself. We truly are at a moral tipping point and this "golden age" of fraud is undeniable proof of it. There isn't a single entity that promotes morality or decency in any field, even all the non-profits are tax evasive shells or money laundering holes so why should these people be taking a "high ground". sorry for the rant.

@@untitled795 Yeah I find it hard to blame anyone without the comfort of inherited wealth for what they do to get by. It’s when they try to convince me that an entirely extractive swindle is a moral good that I become infuriated.

@@gerardofranco6033 Best wishes from the US, the imperialism of the US State Dept. and CIA under the Dulles brothers really harmed a lot of people in Latin America and it's something we should be more informed about, as it should be our responsibility to ameliorate some of the damages. I hope that you're getting paid well and can get out of whatever soul-sucking situation you are in that makes taking money from scammers to post youtube comments feel like a necessary choice.

Love your work, Domingo you are very good at introducing complex topics to those of use previously unfamiliar with them. The historical and social context is so complex and important to the story. Thank you so much all three of you

I think that, without necessarily praising the libertarian ideals behind crypto, we can agree that crypto bros supporting el dictador have failed the test of sticking to their principles... unless those ideals were fascism since the beginning!

I love all of your videos/podcasts, but I have some constructive criticism this time. I think the jump cuts are very overdone and distracting. As far as content goes though, this was a super interesting episode. However this situation unfolds, it’s going to be the ugliest thing we’ve seen yet.

I know it sounds like an extreme take, but the effects of fraud (including crypto fraud) are extremely damaging to people, families and society. Seeing one unravel before you is very eye opening.

@@CryptoCriticPod Bitcoin as legal tender does not affect the economy of El Salvador, bitcoin only represents 2% of state finances and the rest is almost entirely in dollars. Bitcoin in El Salvador favors many foreign investors who bring development and work to the country. In El Salvador no commissions are paid on purchases or transactions, sending free remittances and purchasing any service or product in BTC. whoever wishes can use bitcoin or dollar and it is not a cause for concern... El salvador has not lost money in the purchase of BTC, because the Bukele government has not sold the BTC in the low, the president only sells BTC when the price rises price. The payment of the debt of El Salvador has been a problem of previous governments and Bukele received a bankrupt government and with a maximum debt, Bukele is taking the best solution to get out of the debt inherited for many years, using bitcoin does not mean carrying the country to financial bankruptcy, it is like saying that selling tulips is going to bankrupt a country, something illogical... The media outlet "el faro" is opposed to the government and tells brazen lies and occupies other international influencers to spread lies about the Bukele government, this corrupt medium "el faro" is financed by corrupt politicians and they are angry because Bukele took away the business of political corruption in El Salvador... Bukele is leading the country on the right path, make no mistake.

Let’s go through several of these: 1. New investment - plausible but Bitcoin bond is twice delayed with no date 2. Spread us paid on purchases so there is a fee 3. It is compulsory for people to accept 4. Assets should be impaired to market price 5. There is no evidence this will help Bukele get out of debt and actually impacted his ability to get funding for ES when IMF cut them off. 6. Speculating on tulips could certainly bankrupt a country

The FMI could no longer lend more money to El Salvador because the previous governments indebted the country to the limit, it was already a situation that could be seen coming, that is why Bukele has achieved alliances with other regional financial systems, apart from the fact that Bukele does not like the FMI and does not want business with that bank. For sellers it is mandatory to accept BTC, as it is mandatory to accept the dollar also in a natural way, the advantage in El Salvador that a seller accepts bitcoin can convert it into dollars in 1 second in the "chivo wallet", without having losses for the volatility of the crypto currency, it is not a cause for concern. Bitcoin could not bankrupt the country because, as the opposition media say, "few Salvadorans use bitcoins" and it does not represent even 2% of the state's finances, so how could bitcoin have a negative economic impact on the state? .. I watched the Bukele interviews on the What Bitcoin Did podcast. He's awesome! Way more intelligent than most developed nation leaders. Can't wait to see more countries adopt btc.
