    Nice video! How big AC voltage the inverter procudes for the panel? You mentioned 120-140 without unit so I am wondering did you mean the frequency in Herz (120-140Hz) or the Voltage 120-140VAC?

    hi.i found your video to be very helpful. but i have a few questiond about yourel panels. you see,meand my sibling are trying to make our tron costumes from hand and and this will be our first time working with el panels or wire. i would like to know it i can connect the wire to the ribbon with electical tape?and if i get far enough, what can i put under the live underside so it stays on my costume but it doesn't shock me? please answer at your soonest convenience. and thank you.

    I would cover the back of the EL foil with epoxy dip coating. As to connectors, electrical tape is poorly suited for this purpose. It is meant to protect bare wires from contact with areas it should not contact. I like the video makers solution of using a non-heated conductive glue instead. Just apply and let dry. In fact, you could do the glue layer, then do the epoxy dip layer which would cover both. Then your costume would be safe even if you get sweaty.

    If you contact the live surface, it will shock you. If the current travels across your heart, it will likely kill you. I suggested to someone covering the back with epoxy dip, like the stuff they put on tool handles.

    Can this be used in a costume? I am making a super hero suit and the logo in the from lights up (imagine the superman symbol for example) would this be able to work for something like that?

    as long as you have space for the portable power source and follow her rules you should be able to but im no expert im nust using it for armor im making hope yours turns out well
