Amazing! I’m just starting building a new version of the a320 FCU and I was wondering which type of acrylic do you use? I see so many different options in regards to the amount of light they bleed that I’m unsure. Thank you!

Hi, I use Opaque White 3mm which is about 30% translucent (as shown in video). However, because the EL Panel is not very bright, there is no more way of brightening it further though to me it's okay. I tried the "Translucent white" (70% translucency) as suggested by some, but I don't find the whites white enough for the markings if backlighting is turned off. Generally, I am still at the point of experimenting. I also have UV direct print on Acrylic with very sharp markings but not the best surface print quality. I think I might settle with the Opaque "Chalk" white 30% once I confirm all works well. Cheers!

Thanks Stig, yes i think this will be a game changer for home cockpit backlighting. And yes it's in Aliexpress just search 'EL Panel' :) I hope that helps.
