    Between 1:53 - 2:00 you can see the links are installed incorrectly. The offset is to attach to the swaybar; Per the instructions, Install photos, and our Instagram DMs with you. You have the Driver & Passenger side links swapped. Glad those Eibach links worked out for you none the less. 👍

    As I clearly stated in the video they were initially installed incorrectly as per your instructions hence why I didnt try to argue the fact that the bushings wore out the first time. However, after the new bushings were installed and the links were installed correctly as you can see between 4:42 - 5:46 and explained between 7:25 - 8:40 they still failed so the bushings for those links are not the best. You guys make great products but unfortunately these end links just don’t hold up with those rubber bushings.

    @@Srtfiedofficial Having the offsets wrong initially may have elongated your OE strut hole, causing that noise & failure to persist. The polyurethane bushing would not stand a chance in that case, We do greatly appreciate your feedback. Also, just for reference on those Eibach links - these are installed incorrectly. Those tapered metal bushings are to sit against the heim joints per Eibachs instructions. That bushing is installed on the outside of your swaybar, not against the joint ( 10:37 ) in the video. The strut/ swaybar should not be making direct contact with the heim joint. Those bushings are there to allow free movement of the joints. This could cause future failures and more damage to your strut. Hope this helps.

    The Eibachs are a step up in technology, you can adjust the length while they are on the car. You can dial in the pre load on the sway bar to zero on both ends. Those Bwoody links, because they are fixed length, can unbalance the sway bar a little bit depending on how the corners are weighted. This is important if you want to take your car out for track time, auto crossing, or

    In watching the video, the eibach front end links were not installed correctly. The mis-alignment spacers should be on the front side of the heim joint, e.g. sandwiched on the raceway. You have one of the spacers on the backside mount. The spacer orientation in the video, the end link is unable fully articulate.

    @@Srtfiedofficial for sure. And I read how you had no issues. It’s bizarre. I wonder if Eibach has their instructions wrong. Initially, they only included 4 misalignment spacers when I purchased the links directly from them.

  • @Srtfiedofficial

    @Srtfiedofficial

    9 ай бұрын

    Maybe, or maybe the spacers placement or location is negligible to the operation of those endlinks as each vehicle is different when it comes to swaybar movement under load and etc. so those endlinks may not articulate to the point where the placement becomes a factor.
