Just read 1090 for myself and you are on point. I honestly love this arc. After Wano being the longest arc to date (covers around 16 volumes), I honestly love everything about Egghead Island. Finally, we get to see Dr. Vegapunk. Finally, we know the Elder Stars' full names. Finally, we know how that hole under Eneis Lobby was made. Finally, we see Koby stepping up to the hero that the World Government needs. Finally, we get a glimpse in to Void Century. Finally, we get an understanding of how the Devil Fruits came into existence. Just so many things finally coming into place, and yet, it's still not over. Speaking of not over yet, I can't to see your future One Piece arcs are hilarious. I can already see it now Water 7/Enies Loby from Rob Lucci and Spandam, Arlong Park from Arlong, Syrup Village from Kuro and Baratie from Don Krieg and Zeff You are on point with the comedy. I can't wait to see more.

@@RoronoaZoro-ur6hr since he just got this transformation he won't be able to last long since it takes a lot of energy, when Luffy was fighting kaido his gear 5 ran out and kaido allowed him to start it back up, he needs to blitz them and end the front as quickly as possible, cuz if you runs out I'm pretty sure big mom is not going to sit there and wait to transform again

I've been joking with a friend that Lucci just has a Murder Boner, he is a sociopath who loves fighting and killing, that's really all he cares about. @@weedle5221 As Tek said about Garp at BB's island, but there's not an infinite amount of chickens you can deal with. You'll be fine with one, maybe even 10, but there surely is a limit. Same thing for Kizaru: he may be an admiral, but there are 50 brand new Kumabot 3.0 and 4 C17/C18 Lunarian Warlords. Without even taking into account SSJ Bugs Bunny, French Terminator, Samurai Satan, the rest of the crew and all the tech. And CP-0 which I'm pretty sure isn't willing to die because of the failed mission. Not saying that 50 PX-III alone would be enough, but it's surely enough to put him in troubles and way more than enough to take care of the whole rest of the fleet. (I'm dreaming of ALL the pacifista following the SH, like, part of the grand fleet, protecting VP until he's with them, but still being useful to clear the path)

Little Boa having a crush on Luffy would make sense. Vegapunk made them, and I don't think he would make them entirely unfelling monsters if he had the choice. Maybe the Kuma Pacifista goes against that, but we still don't know what Kuma asked of him and it was enough that Bonny seems satisfied. It's also clear she has at least a bit of Big Boa's personality, so there's always a chance.

I think its plausible but I'm not sure if it would make sense. Boa loves Luffy because of his actions during Amazon Lily, before he protected their secret she treated him like every other man. If it happens I wont be bothered by it, but I think it would be cooler if Lil Boa had Boa's initial attitude towards Luffy.

You are putting to much trust in Vegapunk. He created marine ships coated with sea stones for the goverment. The Pacifistas, human child clones, laser weapons, and a huge sky laser beam. Some of this stuff was handed by York, but still shows that Vegapunk had no problem creating this stuff for the world goverment. And why would he? The Marines are the good ones after all, altrough Vegapunk wants to research the void century too. The Seraphim is also a great addition to the govt. assets. If they turn against them this earlier in the story, this would make the goverment to weak.

Oda expertly avoided one of my least favorite anime tropes wherein the protag reaches some awesome level of power we have been waiting for and all of a sudden the entire universe gets a power up too. Still a little bit of that going on with the Seraphim and the Gods knights, but Luffy just no diff-ing any threat on egghead makes me insanely happy. If it was some bs where Lucci and Kaku and York were suddenly Yonko commander level it would have severely hurt the story.

I’m fine with the Seraphim, they didn’t suddenly just pop up and were as strong as Luffy, who just beat up “the worlds strongest creature.” The Gods Kights are a little more problematic since it’s been repeatedly stated that the Admirals are the height of the WGs power, if there are suddenly 9 more dudes on that level that’s kinda meh, but we don’t have enough info to pass judgment on that yet. But yeah, if Lucci and everyone else in CP-0 was Yonko level, that makes it much less meaningful.

Friendly reminder Oda showed us in after volume mini chapters that after his FIRST fight with Luffy Lucci’s gang had to start a fund raiser to get him surgery so he wouldn’t die… and he still wanted smoke after that! Dude is on another level

This guy is the MVP. He literally just started posting videos 2 months ago and in such a short time he made a huge impact in the fandom to the point now everyone and their momma are calling Luffy a crackhead. Pretty much every time Robin disappears and no one else seems to care it relates to the Poneglyphs. Since Vegapunk was researching the void century, it's probably a given he has a couple of poneglyphs on the island. she's most likely with them and writing down what is on them. It would be absolutely hilarious if Vegapunk ended up having the last Road Poneglyph as well.

It would be funny, but it’s stated that the last road poneglyph is on a pitch black ship, surrounded by whirlpools everywhere it sails, and is captained by a man with the burn scar on his face. I personally think they’re talking about dragon (black ship, tattoo on his face is likely a hot iron brand mark, storms seem to follow him wherever he walks)

What's funny is you often have to set up people in ways to make the arc seem like a joke, but you more or less just recounted the events of Lucci in this one. He really is just sort of there questioning his life's decisions.

Crazy how it only took 1 panel to take Egghead Island from like a 6/10 to a 10/10 arc. I’m sure in the coming chapters we’ll find out how they took care of the Seraphim and everything. But I’m so glad that they came back to Egghead like this. The suspense building up throughout the chapter, leading to the big reveal at the end showing what we already knew, that Luffy and the Strawhats are just on a whole different level at this point. Just absolutely perfectly done. This is the Arc where Luffy will go from just being notorious and well known around the world. To cementing his position, and showing why he deserves to be a Yonko.

Honestly the past panels reveal was such a wonderful and hilarious shock that just works so well. Maybe some flashbacks later to recap but overall oda wasnt judt sitting around after eye surgery. Its also just refreshing for the main characters to be in control for once we dont need to see the strawhats concerned after everything that happened in dressrosa and onagashima and it maybe moves the story so much faster if the world government panics because this crazy crackhead is doing this much unchecked

I love Lucci's inclusion in this arc. I kinda feel bad for him getting beaten up, betrayed etc and it's pretty funny too..but I kinda respect that he's not giving up and still trying to do his job, without being able to rely on fighting.

This becomes even funnier when you look at it from Kaku's POV. Your friend just sees a fucking emperor and decided to try and kill him, and then he gets fucked up while you try to fight his second-in-command.
