Great unboxing Geo, Should get mine delivered soon, i have the knurled entirely stainless steel handle version coming to me, the anodised aluminium handle looks cool but i prefer an all stainless steel piece.

Well, I am based in the UK and for ONCE I'm looking forward to us UK/European wet shavers having an accessibility advantage to such a fine piece over you wet shavers in n. America (US, Canada). Normally, in Europe we have to wait ages to get what you good people across the pond easily get first. This time, it's the other way around. More seriously though, that was a very tempting demo Geo. And it has to be said the aesthetics of the razor, the make, the ergonomics..! Well done Edwin Jagger. I've no doubt this razor will become a classic, easily to last for longer than a century. Always good to see you Geo! Tara mate.

Thanks K-We are waiting for them with baited breath so to speak. We want it and have to wait for it. Not good for our instant gratification tendencies 😂 Hope it is bullet proof!

I have tried 7 different blades in this razor and all have worked extremely well from a Feather down. In Australia it cost AUD135 which is over double the cost of a 15C or 37C but to get a good shave every time, cheap as chips. Currently using Feather for multiple days growth and a Nacet for daily shaves.

Another excellent review!! Speaking of which, could you please do a review of the Parker 68S? Couldn't find a single review online.

Looks like my Merkur R89 finally has some real competition. Great review and a great looking razor.

Geo these are stunning looking razors the different coloured handles in the range are aluminium and not stainless which for me if i was buying a stainless steel razor would have to be all stainless especially considering the price in uk £75, a massive price jump from the DE89. The aluminium handles nethertheless is fabulous looking

Nice vid, Geofatboy! How do you feel this compares to Edwin Jagger standards like the DE87 or DE89?? Shave Nation is a must for gentlemen's grooming in the USA ... keep up the great work!!

Beautiful machining on that razor you could only just see the edges of the pins through the baseplate and that is a bit like the machining on my Feather AS-D2 and looks to be the goods cannot wait for the shave GFB!!:D

Looks nice. I have a beautiful Baxter of California safety razor, and I feel pretty certain it's just a rebranded EJ. It's looks exactly like one. Except it's made in Germany.

@@geofatboy Cool, I don't plan on purchasing this one. There's other razors I would consider before the 3One6 EJ. Kensurfs & West Coast Shaving did a review on it, I think they said it is mild.

Beautiful razor. That is definitely on my wish list. Did the sales rep give you any info on the release date and retail price?

Hi Geo, looking at your site now. I am relatively new to safety razors, been using one for a couple months now. I picked up a cheap Qshave razor from Amazon but am now looking to upgrade to something a little better. Do you have any recommendations/"go toos" that are fairly priced? Please let me know!

@@geofatboy Since having posted that about the 3ONE6, I ended up not liking this razor as much as my enthusiasm led me to believe. I have since returned it and purchased the Muhle ROCCA R94, and, yes, the GS stainless steel R41. I am in love with both and will not venture (for a long while at least) to try another razor for years to come. Both are masterpieces of German engineering and craftsmanship. As always, Deutschland, das Reich, proves its genius in producing not just the greatest High Culture of the world, but also the greatest DE razors...

Nice looking razor. But the 6S still beats it. 6 settings for less than 100$ and full ss. Not the greatest looking razor but if you can manage to get it polished it will be great.
