@@PaulHFilms most definitely, but I will say, that razor can bite you if it wants to huh? On my first shave with it, it got me just under my chin, with a Personna Med prep blade. But it's fine now.

I just got EJ 3one6 wow I’m impressed Paul this is a Sleeper and nobody is paying attention to it as much.. Top Cap is made well tolerances and handle is very nice my is blue and very well balanced. Of all I have tried wow this one blew me away well balanced, well made, presentation 10/10💈🪒👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Second shave no nicks no cuts zero just Perfection. Great Job to EJ have done👌🏻 Alan H

Fantastic shave Paul ! I have this razor past month and it's a fantastic shaver one of the best. I've mostly moved on to vintage sheffield and solingen steel straight razors. Some days it has to be a quick DE shave. I love this razor for those days and I don't get any guilt as I can always tell myself - I shaved with modern sheffield steel today ! Hi Paul, I love this Razor and I get fantastic results with Super shave X blades. I love the accuracy of the fit between the top & base plates. I have sensitive skin but get no trace whatsoever of soreness or irritation with this combination. It is quite an aggressive razor but incredibly smooth. I hope you and Mrs H are safe and well. Great shave Paul. Looks a great razor. Another one for my list. Great flowers as always Mrs H thankyou. Useing my new E.S.C. Braveheart today with a V Super Max blade, Wilkinson sword stick, Semouge 820 brush, my own Lavender witch hazel, Floid the Genuine aftershave and Arko post balm. Thank you Carl, and hope you enjoy the Semogue 830, if it has a smell to it when you wet it, lather up using a strong scented soap, it will help, but it will soon vanish with use, and the brush will feel softer too, almost badger-like after a while :-)

Nicely done Paul💈💈 The 316 seems to be a pleasure to use. It has that old Gillette "Tech" look base plate about it, cool. Stainless steel is a plus and the price is reasonable for this type of razor👌 The shave cream looks very nice, and seemed to give good performance. A little extra color didn't deter the shave, only clashed with the beautiful flowers provided by Mrs H, how dare you detract from her magnificent creation...lol. Great video and descriptive review as always👍 Enjoy!

Boots tea tree etc, must give it a try. Just bought the Jagger 30NE6, Can't wait for my first shave with it. The feather stainless beautiful looking razor but very pricey!😮

Thanks for a very informative vid here Paul. That's one handsome razor! I don't have a big collection and am very careful when making my choices, but having toyed with getting a stainless steel razor and looking at the Karve CB and the Rockwell 6S, for me simplicity, looks and style are all right here - in the 3ONE6!

Had another shave today with parker variant + vine cream boar Brush liked, just bought edwin jagger razor I also looked at used mach 3 cartridges all clogged up with hair and gel good riddance go for D E razors use your touch to shave how Paul H Recomends 😳

A really great shave today Paul. I also was wondering when would a EJ 3one6 show up in your hands :) It's a one of its kind razor. Lots of research to make a precision shaving tool like that. The DE89 was the first modern razor I bought and I think the 3on6 shall be the last for me. Completing the cycle with Edwin Jagger :) Loved the blood and flowers matching colors... Mrs H already knew that there would be nicks in this one. Have a fantastic rest of the week. My regards to Alys "the boss"

Paul, I just chanced upon your channel only a week ago. Watched a few of your videos from years ago. Loving it, to say the least. And now this. 👍 I have seven razors I’m very fond of that I use in rotation. I like Edwin Jagger razors, and especially stainless steel razors of any kind. I think the 3ONE6 looks really cool. It’s pricey, but I don’t mind. As long as the stainless steel with the knurled handle 3ONE6 is 100% SS. Is it so? I’d only buy it if it is. And I reckon this is slightly more aggressive than the classic DE89. That is what I want. My current favourite razor is the all-stainless steel adjustable Rockwell 6S.

Great video Paul, the 3one6 is a great razor, you won't find any machine marks as its been made by a special process called Metal Injection Moulding and like you, I really enjoy using the razor All the best Mark

MIM process is inferior to CNC machined like for other high-end razors, so I decided to skip 316 before they change the production process if ever

Hi Haken, I have both razors. The 3one6 arrived today. It is stainless where the 6c is not. The 6s is stainless. The quality and precision of this razor is better than the 6c but the 6c gives you optional base plates making it adjustable. The 3one6 is very impressive. They do the 3one6 with coloured handles that are made of aerospace quality Aluminium not stainless steel. I hope this helps mate. Dave.

I'm also quite impressed with the EJ 316. I have only tried this razor with Astra blades and Feather blades.

How long since you’ve used a DE89 Paul? I’m blown away that anything could feel “smoother” than that. I moved on from DE89 as my daily shaver because it wasn’t get quite as close as I wanted, but for comfort and smoothness it is still unsurpassed in my experience

I used it within the last two months, it was the first decent new razor I bought years ago, this 3one6 feels closer and smoother to me, they have certainly worked on this razor, of course the DE89 is still a smooth clean cutting razor. Thanks Nick.

I remember I wanted to get the Varient for my very first safety razor!!! But if you remember I ended up choosing the Muhle r-41 then for my 1st Adjustable I had to go with the *1964 Gillette Slim Adjustable BABY*

If I could still shave with one I'd one of those. My meds make shake so bad and the meds which control the shaking make me into a zombie. Man I miss it!

Great shave Paul! I am late with this one but have you ever tried slicing a fresh aloe vera leaf? It is in the same family with garlic and onion, and smells really unpleasantly (like stale garlic) naturally :)

Is the knurled handle solid stainless because some reviews say it's hollow? I presume the aluminium coloured handles are hollow with the top and bottom ends glued in.

Hi Paul I was very interested to see your video on the 3 one 6. I contacted you a few weeks ago as I am looking for an upgrade on my DE89L as even using a feather blade I find myself going over and over even after three passes. I have considered the 3 one 6 along with the Rockwell 6c. Your previous suggestion was a a Gillette slim adjustable but the only place I seen them unused was in the states at high prices plus carriage. Really I was thinking of a new razor so I would very much appreciate your thoughts. Very many thanks in advance.

Glad you enjoyed it Leslie, it sounds like you need something with more aggression, maybe a Parker Variant would be better as you can adjust the aggression, and it is more aggressive than the DE89L.....worth some thought, plus you can get it new of course.

YMMV, everyone has a different opinion on different razors.

A great razor especially for men with sensitive skin because it's actually very aggressive, so there's no need to repeat the strokes to achieve a baby-bum-smooth shave. Just one stroke and you're done.

Judging this from it's first use, I think it will be up there with my other favourites

When last we Paul H had a shave by the sea....Close to a lighthouse beneath a blue sky...Then first back inside his house....Paul pulled out a new razor and fresh blade....He smiled and grinned and showed off some of Mrs H flowers too....Then proceeded to play Jack the Ripper and slice his own throat! He took the 3 1 6 and hit that spot and all the world did see red as Paul calmly shook his head...Pulled out styptic stick and rendered first aid then went back to business as if he were paid....

Yes, I do bleed, that one spot I forgot about until I felt it cut... ouch! lol

Only 4 weeks into de shaving with a muhle r106, need second razor as a spare, would this be ok for relative newbie. Not new to shaving as I’m an old git lol.
