Edgar Wright talks about Scott Pilgrim vs. the World ahead of the theatrical re-release. He reflects on the film's original opening weekend and explains why he wasn’t eager to blame Universal’s marketing team. He also talked about the enduring appeal of the film, especially among younger people, and looked back on the making of the movie, including how the hiring of cinematographer Bill Pope was initially meant to help quell concerns on the studio’s part given his experience on The Matrix. This movie has the best, most creative special effects I've ever seen. I've never seen a movie where audio is equally a special effect as the visual effects. This just combines them both to perfection. Still the best looking, sounding, and feeling movie I've ever seen, and it came out 10 years ago. Insanity.
One of my favorite Films of all time made by one of my favorite Directors of all time!
We need a Scott Pilgrim animated series!

There was actually a pilot for an animated series. I believe it was cancelled.

I loved watching the movie in Dolby Cinema throughout the whole movie the hair on the back of my neck was standing up because it felt like a totally different experience I hope they do it again for the 15th anniversary

Edgar wright is an amazing director and his transitions are being studied to this day. I just bough Scott pilgrim vs the world blu-ray dvd combo for 5$ bc I own a ps4 slim and saw the movie in theaters in 2010 now my best friend owns a ps5 so should I pre order the 4k blu ray for us to watch? Hes never seen Scott pilgrim vs the world but he likes shaun of the dead and hot fuzz.
I would fly to London, no hesitation, to see the Cornetto films in the cinema. Or just one. I just want to see them in the cinema.
