pretty sure depth crawlers walk faster in a diagonal motion rather than just walking straight forward. i always find myself doing that in underground missions to try and keep up with my friends.

You didnt test for the combination of using 1 twin spear alongside dash jumping. The momentum gained from twin spear plus the dash cancelled boost jump might make it the fastest option for fencer

I swear the fast red nix is a reference of Gundam

sounds like the DLC this time around is rather powerful, rather than the mostly cosmetic lvl 0 stuff in 4.1

Did they take away the double sits motocycle that was in 2025?

incase your not able to remember those names of the vehicles, if the ranger has the heli with the auto cannon then he has the Necrid. the airraiders tank is the Gigantis, the railgun is the Epsilon, and the APC is called the Grape.

Nereid* :) Also Air Raider's tank was called the Gigantes in EDF4, but in EDF5 it's called the "Blacker"

Ranger has a super low level Blacker for some reason, but the full line from low to high level ones belongs to air raider.

Considering that this title has separate vehicles for both classes, the case that the Ranger and AirRaider both have excess "Blacker" tanks doesn't add up right. You might ass well give the 35mm battle cannon to the ranger.(Since that by lore is a death sentence for anyone without a powerframe.) Far as I'm concerned, until the western port is out for sure, the Ranger gets the Blacker and the AirRaider gets the Gigantes. ps. thanks for the spell check in the previous reply. :)

Something I've been wondering is which is faster, rolling or sprinting when you have no sprint items equipped.

It is practically the same from my test. The Sprint with no item is mainly just to avoid the annoyance of rolling

I think this map ix 1x1 kilometer, so from edge to edge like this, the distance should be exactly 1000 meters. Try calculating speeds based on that. (All makes in EDF 4.1 seemed to be 1x1 km, and in EDF5 all maps seem to be either 1x1 or 2x2 km in size.)

1Km = 1000m /20s = 50m/s that 180km/h for wing Diver's fastest speed. Air Raider's Roll is 32.1Km/h

does the depth crawler not have you side dodge anymore? that seems reasonably fast in 4.1

It still does have side dash, the walking was faster on this depth crawler though
