Hound missiles are pretty useful on pillbugs and tadpoles, you can bring fat ass purple tadpole down quickly.

I've actually found power beacon gun with the leviathans to be perfectly viable at least if you are on PC since you have much more control over your lock on reticule. Since you need an air raider anyways chances are you have a power assist gun available to push the damage higher than before. Even back in 4.1 when the leviathans had that painful 25s base lock on time (17s with power beacon gun) you can push the dps of those weapons to an equivalent level of the level 81 haytals with those same buffs for single targets without having the air raider out of commission with managing the missile. With a good strategy you can trivialize any large targets or even groups of medium targets if you have a competent front line.

HAIL is a very picky weapon. It is ok at half its upgrades, but as you get more of them, you end up blowing yourself up while standing still. Jumping straight up is the best way to use it. Another thing is that using it seems to mess with my controls and it eats inputs like crazy if you try to move around with them.
