Kind of a shame they didn't animate hit reactions when getting smacked by Bargas like they did with the other big monsters. They had to have foreseen someone wanting to box God with a giant robot.

i have an even more specific want a warsuit with the control scheme of the Meganites from Robot Alchemic Drive, the really old games by the same developers the Meganites feel awkward and clunky with the controls...at first until you learn them then they're actually pretty nimble I miss that game

if you think about it if the player character can canonically dodge light beams and even tank them does that mean that storm 1 is canonically almost more durable if not more durable than some mainline anime characters?

There's nothing left in the EDF yet somehow an air raider can call in an infinites amount of airstrikes and summon a barga.

The aliens thought no human could stand up to their leader, their god. Barga is no human.

God Alien: attacks with kinetic energy beams from hands and space distortion, etc. Mech: I'm gonna punch the shit out of that

Everyone else: *accepts their fate* Storm 1: "and I took offense to that!" *Calls in the barga* Nameless: *hears doom music*

It seems "God" has forgotten that his weakness in concentrated artillery bombardment. No match for Jesus!

edf is the kind of game that no matter how old it gets, playing it is just pure fun. I think i've gone back to play EDF 5 more times than any AAA game that i've bought in recent years. though my ability to find online players (mainly due to my work schedule) does get in the way of my multiplayer enjoyment.

The air raiders even used drones instead of actual air raids to call in air strikes since the air force is probably non-existent in that game.

@@benoliver5593 I just wish GW could make a game like this with tons of replayability. Like Space Marines vs Tyranids, lots of Tyranids and only weapon grinding, no skill or spell grinding. Space Hulk: Death Wing was a disaster and fall short of EDF level of absurdity and destruction. I just wish they have used Battle of Macragge instead of unheard Space Hulk vessel and maybe done it like EDF where you can recover relics after mission and the single player is the same as co-op mission and players can pick any type of "class" instead of locking it to the librarian.

Whenever I get into a Barga, I hear one of two things, Big O theme or Pacific Rim in my head.

ants are more alarming against barga than this joke of a leader...now do it again with strike barga xD

Yes. I expected to limp behind him even more. Each hit was a victory.

EDF4.1 may have the most iconic and funniest EDF chants especially the hidden despair versions in the late game, but damn EDF5's Signs of Victory theme slaps so hard when it plays, that adrenaline rush you get is just so satisfying. Also side note: pepsiman dying and kneeling in front of Barga like that looks like he doin' a little sucky sucky there lmao. 😅
