you said it pal! I seen eddie 8 times from 2005 to 2008 and the last time it was a different eddie altogether! less energy and wasn't his normal banging sets what he'd normally do was just a different style of music altogether that doesn't suit his style.

Oliver Budworth Yeah not the same though mate. No energy and passion. Listen to the crowd chanting his name like Rocky Balboa. Live in Australia so only had the opportunity to see him 3 times. Once in 03 when he was playing both vinyl and CD’s and twice in 08/09. He was finished by then. Playing electro, tech house by the numbers. DJays like Eddie were born to play “bosh”. Nothing else compares.

Can we just go back to these times 😞 gods kitchen and Eddie halliwell what nights. Anyone who knows those times and the travelling that was done for a rave can’t be repeated. The youth now missed out on the best generation of dance music 🙈

I had the pleasure working on a Tidy London event back in the day and he was headlining the bill. Great guy and amazing djing skills. Watching this just now I was thinking to myself to how many first time clubbers there was. Seeing and hearing this on your first time out must have you hooked on clubbing for sure. 👍

Proper Dj belting out banging tunes to a crowd gagging for a euphoric rush. He is a master then suddenly the scene disappeared. And I've been at this stuff since 1992 What went wrong !! Oh yeah EDM shit

Best DJ I’ve ever seen live, I seen him at the Crystal Rooms just before it closed and just before I stopped clubbing. Never even heard of him before and I was like who is this bloke?! Amazing mixing, just got progressively more uplifting as the set went on. Seen about 100 different DJ’s at least as well. Seen Easygroove, Clarke, Trevor Rockcliffe, Colin Dale, Colin Favor, SY, Grooverider, Etc etc…

What a guy meet him in temple theatre Dublin wat I night I remember chatting till him end off night told me hard trance nice fella loves the music the bosh sets he done for mixing was unreal

Eddie played a festival I went to a couple days ago. Everybody was high as a kite, he was so good I could've ripped my nutsack off, and I don't have a nutsack. And to think I was going to skip him

You can not say ANYTHING bad about this performance...We're seeing God doing his thing on the turn tables

For me I think the music just wasn't there anymore to do this kind of stuff. I remember seeing Eddie first at Global Gathering here in Ireland in 2005 and its still one of the best memories I have. Thing is the music at that time was incredible, some serious techno/tech-trance at that point from people like Marco V all at a high bpm. By 2010 all the producers slowed their music and changed style which really ended that great era!! That music will never come back unfortunately, shame:(

Eddie Halliwell 2005 - 2007 was untouchable. The music coming out during those years was just unbelievably bangin and suited Eddie’s style to a tee. He was by far my favourite DJ at the time. As soon as he started doing his Fire it Up stuff and his radio show it all went to shit. How do you go from being a resident every week at Amnesia with Ferry Corsten and PVD to literally disappearing off the planet??
