    Every time I do heavy deadlifts my lower back has the most amazing burn I’ve ever felt in my life and I never used to do deadlifts only until 2 months ago and now I’ll never stop doing them and another thing they suck a ton of energy out of you so Eddie doing this no wonder he fell to the ground completely exhausted you feel like you could have a nap after that lol

    Bob FDG makes sense for lifters to be dropped. Shits got nothing to do with fighting. If a lifter doesn’t lose in a sparring against a fighter than that fighter is doing something VERY wrong.

    Mendoza Pestosa I feel the same way, but quite honestly I don’t think he’ll ever be as strong as Eddie as far as static strength goes. Not only that but Eddie hit 500 in an actual competition in front of thousands of people, not the same as just doing it on a livestream in the comfort of your own gym

    Leon Wang Obviously you do, Wangdangdoodle. I'm just saying, that kind of strength is impressive, but extremely one-dimensional. Dude is crazy strong, but what can he do with that type of training other than pick things up and put them down again? Sports? Maybe powerlifting but little else. Will he be strong as he ages? Nope. That kind of brutal training exacts a price on your back. I've seen it time and again. Those guys burn out with injuries.

    Carlton Wilson your logic cancels out all power-lifting then -- and basically the majority of sports in the Olympics. What's the point of diving? whats the point of shooting? whats the point of volleyball? whats the point of blah blah blah. but then whats the point of doing 3 what the guy can do and run a mile? for your life? what if you need to run three miles? what's enough? what if you need to lift a fucking big stone to save yourself? what if you need to lift three fucking big stones to save three members of your family? whats the point of running a mile now?

    I’ve seen people do that before (not necessarily the same weight ofc), but they always load the plates while it’s on the ground. He’s actually hanging on to that massive weight while they load/de-load. As if Hall deadlifting wasn’t impressive enough, that’s just a little bit of icing on the cake in this imo

    So much stress and strain on the body lifting these crazy weights. My god how does he sustain this consistency everyday? When he does WR lifts you can literally see the strain and stress it causes on his body. I hope he won't end up injured like Ronnie Coleman.
