    Yeah, but Ed Harris definitely had anger issues. He allowed his dedicated acting to trickle over into his everyday life and it has negatively effected his personal affairs. It's actually kind of sad actors allow themselves togo this far in the public eye. Most never make it back to their former selves and become revered by the audience. It's really quite sad to see actors and actresses crumble like that. That type of behavior should never be condoned.

    this is an incredible actor, on a whim and a moments notice, showing you what violence is: irrational, impulsive, triggered, uncertain, fearful, hateful...so many things he showed in just seconds. he was ACTING. he wasnt mad, he answered the question in an atristic way and with more of a punch than any combination of words.

    I remember when I was in college, the people in the classroom next to me called campus security on me. I was reenacting a play in theater class and I was supposed to be angry. Apparently, the Act was so convincing but I got escorted out of the classroom before my professor catch up and explain. I was laughing my ass off.

    I saw this a while ago and thought the guy was being a dick. Now I see it, he didn't hurt anybody, it was a different response than anticipated, it actually seemed interesting to me, on the nature of violence, it's random, disturbing, uncomfortable and often irrational. I'm either looking too much into it or this guy lost the plot.

    Ed Harris has been honorably and dutifully the husband and father for more than 32 years, ... to the same family. The man is a 'rock'! He has never been jaded by his successful career. And his acting skills are impeccable, as witnessed by many of the reactions here to this, 'FOX NN' type, edited presentation.

    @@jurjenvanderhoek316 Most people don't, tho. They just know it by watching pixels. To experience physical violence in real life, or even just the threat of it, is a different beast. And I think this movie fails delivering that. Only movie where violence really felt real was Once Were Warriors, for me. No goddamn square-jawed prime male fighting off thugs... just a drunken macho man ruining his life and family with his fists. Violence is deranged, and Ed was going for that.
