BE CAREFUL WITH THIS. I was using this to clean a grill that is left at 350F and while scraping it after pouring it on, it splashed up against the back splash guard and landed on my arm in several places leaving me with severe 3rd degree burns. You really should be required to wear gloves and long sleeves while using this. I see it says to reduce the heat to 190F, however our resturant does not do this and not only is it too hot to be cleaning, but it creates a thick cloud of smoke/vapor that when breathed in causes breathlessness and coughing attacks. Happens every single day and I am either asking for $15 an hour (getting $10 and it isn't worth it), filing workers comp, or quitting.

I havw used this to clean a grill that hasnt been cleaned in 4 years. It took 2 whole 32 oz bottles to get to clean and good 2 hrs work i would say. It did the job but if you maintain your grill it will be way faster. Dont geglt grill way too hot and its hard to judge on how how is it maybe infrared temp gun would help. Wear a mask and turn on hood to draw all that nasty fumes from you.

It's a form of acid that breaks up grease and char on the grill you can get burned from it if it gets on you while in liquid form but once it gets to a certain temperature the fumes won't harm your respiratory system it's only harmful if you get it on your skin/eyes I've used that product many times over the 20 years I worked in fast food

First drain out the Grease traps with the gril hot pour water on the left side then right of the grill and move it with into the traps This picks up the burnt grease. Next add your acid then spread it around wait scuffing the grill with your pad stick Then wash again with water pushing it into the trap..repeat untill the boiling water is clear not black or brown ...Then dump traps and wash them out and do a final wipe down .....towels alone do not remove acid off grills

ecolab best degreaser is fast foam for commercial kitchen flat top grill, empty the grease trap is key. Then I pour 1/2 a cup in a puddle in the middle of the grill about 5 mins after you turn it off, so its still hot but not to hot to clean, then get a pitcher of hot water pour it on the puddle and watch the foam spread every where. wait till the steam stops and take a flat edge scraper and simply slide the water back and forth with no effort exerted, I use about a another 1/2 a pitcher adding as needed( you can just tell when) use the scraper and push it up the sides and back wall let it chill while get to pulling to the trap then once with the scraper along the walls and a once over with a hot wet towel. Literally no scrubber brick or scrubing needed. I don't use the long handle scraper this guy used, I use dough cutter scraper, ya know, the ones that are just a 4"×6" flat piece of stainless with a strip of wood across the top. ( the plastic handles suck)

It is not dirty, all the bacteria has been burned at high temperatures. For some type of foods you need to keep the temperatures as high as possible. If the temperatures are high as possible then your grill will eventually turn black on certain areas. You clean the grill after each shift. Now if this was left over night then yes it would be dirty.

You don't want to breathe this stuff in, but guess what, YOU DO EVERY TIME YOU USE IT. When I use this stuff at my job, the grill surface is literally not visible because of the high amounts of gas coming off of it from this product. I get short of breathe every time I clean the grill and have to take a brake from it, experiencing short breathless coughs
