I love how eco friendly this place is! We have similar restaurants in Los Angeles, USA, but this place is definitely a lot less expensive. It would fit right in here :)

Happy Holidays, I must try this restaurant when I come to visit. You and your friends are so beautiful. Happy New Years! We have a restaurant called Nolla here in Helsinki, where the dishes are locally sourced and are in season. Everything in the restaurant from the lights to the aprons the chefs wear is sustainable. Leftover food goes into compost which they sell to local farmers. I think you would enjoy it.

The food looks very good and I see they put effort into the preparation and details. The bathrooms even have steps for the kiddies to reach the water taps ... very thoughtful! Your vlog is nice for the world to see there is more than wooden cottages and snow in Siberia. BTW. as I read this, it is 11:15 am in Yakutsk and - 46 C. Happy freezing!

I live in Central Minnesota USA, when growing up it would get -20 to-35 below zero with global warming it's rare to be -20 in the winter now days. Some years the lake ice is only safe for a couple months. Now that I'm older (73) I don't miss the real cold winters.

In my town, we don't have anything that thoroughly eco-conscious that I know of. Ours tend to focus on local and/or organic ingredients or being vegetarian/vegan. One of the unfortunate side effects of the pandemic is that most restaurants were forced to rely heavily on take out, which means more styrofoam, plastic, and other readily 'disposable' materials...in that sense, this genuinely delicious-looking restaurant is more advanced than most in the US.

This restaurant is very good. Fresh food with recycling and re- using things. I like it! The food is what we would call "wholefoods" here in the UK. Yes, we have restaurants that sell wholefood meals ( mostly the vegetarian ones I have noticed), but I haven't seen the 0 waste concept with them, although recycling is done by collection in most cities, organised by the local councils.

You should try ASMR! Your voice is so calming and relaxing!

For once we have a channel that is different... there are tons of ASMR channels.

We don’t have one in my small town but at the town right next door we have bar that gets a lot of their meat, and fish from local farmers. They also get local produce too when it’s in season. I definitely want to go there if we ever come visit. So pretty!!

I am currently living in Falkirk in Scotland. We do not have such a restaurant here, but I do know there was one in Edinburgh that was similar and also did upcycling and trading events

I live in Edinburgh and there is plenty of cafes and restaurants that are eco friendly/vegan/veggie. Definitely more than just one!

Hello from NYC, nice video (as always). To your question, I don't think any restaurant in NYC does *all* those things (especially the space for kids, which sounds great!), but several that try hard to be sustainable and recycling. Eco restaurants here tend to focus on serving only local foods and dealing with food waste in sustainable ways. I think those are areas maybe you're already ahead of us! The restaurant looked really nice and bright, it would fit in just fine in Manhattan :).

I think eco friendly/zero waste restaurants have been a thing for a long time in my city of Tokyo. But it was such a normal thing for us then I guess we didn't really think about it 😅

I live in Norfolk, Virginia in the US. We have a lot of wonderful restaurants just like this in my city and the number grows all the time. Lots of places do farm-to-table dining, specializing in locally grown produce, meats, and dairy. There are many vegetarian and vegan places here, too! Sadly, not many cafes and restaurants offer as much in the way of recycling, but that is changing slowly. I really love seeing what you love about your home and I appreciate you taking the time to share it with the world.

I currently live in Washington DC, in the United States. We have a few different restaurants like this in my area. All the food you guys ordered looked amazing!!!

A very nice restaurant. I like the idea of less waste. I live in the Southeastern United States. I do not know of a restaurant like this in my city or county. Perhaps there be is one like this in Asheville, NC,a two hour drive from here.

I am in Birmingham England: We do have those things here, and a quite a few of those concepts are well presented in this city, unlike many places in England. But I have never come across one place that does all that combined⁉️ If you find that quality of presentation here, it will not be so family friendly for starters. However, I would imagine there are places like that on West Coast of America or Vancouver Canada these days (where I grew up). To think there is a place like that in Yakutsk, means there are more people, like yourself, that place value in that. I never experienced anything even close to that in Alaska either...

We have MANY restaurants like this in Portland, Oregon ... but ... It would cost more like $47 _per person_. Portland wasn't like this much at all (with restaurants like this) 15-20 years ago. It's only been in the past 10-12 years that we find ourselves with a fair bit of choice. Perhaps in 10 years this will be more the norm in Yakutsk. Would love to visit there some day.

Ohhhh I cannot wait until we get to travel again... That looks like such a wonderful restaurant. I'm vegan and tbh it's not great when travelling but luckily thanks to places like this that are explicitly veggie friendly it's a lot better even for us tourists that can't find the hidden gems or ask for the off menu items the local veggies would know to get. What a great concept and so much kudos for them for setting up the recycling initiative, it's something we in Finland definitely take for granted and I love it when people come together to do good things for the environment

Is it hard to be vegan in Finland? I used to chat with someone from Finland and she told me vegetables are very expensive there. She told me the price of a cauliflower once and it was 3 times the price of it here in the UK. I am lactose intolerant so I eat vegan cheese, but I do have free range eggs. I am a vegetarian but almost vegan.

In the San Francisco Bay area (San Jose) we definitely have similar restaurants! It's nice to know that if I visit Yakutsk I will have vegetarian options!

This restaurant looks very chich and modern! I've seen these types of places when I lived in the Netherlands, but here in Northern Italy they're not that common, especially in smaller cities. Maybe in places like Milan, Turin, Bologna you could find something like this 😁
