I’m the same with offers to watchers! I’m not getting notified! I thought something was missing last week! eBay just says they don’t know when things are going to be fixed!

There’s more not charging me for a shop subscription then charging me other fees they don’t know what they are I’ve been waiting for two days for a call back still waiting it’s not just me they tell me

Can I just ask a general question about EBay selling? Up till now I’ve only sold my own stuff, but thought I’d try to make some money from buying to resell from charity shops etc. Do you try to factor in your EBay/PayPal fees with your own prices and p&p charges? Or do you just sell at your desired price and charge a standard p&p rate? Any advice before I buy and then sell some goods would be really helpful. I’m trying to work out profits side of things. I guess I should just stick to my usual habits from my past personal sales, but I wasn’t sure if I should change it for reselling and in larger quantities. Many thanks.

Hi it really depends on what your buying and how much of it you can get. If it's a one off thing from a charity shop I usually try to get as much profit out of it as I can but always factor in fees and postage before hand. If its something in bulk then I'm happy with a lower profit to move things quicker.

@@SelfEmployedStudentMum thank you for replying! I appreciate it. I made a start with my own stuff and then yesterday I went to the local charity shops! Thanks again. BTW do you really think that matched betting beyond the initial offers can continue to work? I am always fed up with those claiming untold thousands in profits. I’m sure they must be involved in the more advanced side of betting that in order to make such massive amounts. I made a good thousand initially but wasn’t sure it was worth continuing. You’re great!

@@debbief9861 did you find anything good? I haven't been to the charity shops in ages and really miss it! I do think you can still make money from matched betting but I also think you're right that the first year is probably the best. I do still do matched betting and make money every month but not as much as the first year. I have a 2 year matched betting profit update video coming soon as loads of people have been asking the same thing. £1000 on the sign up offers is great though!

@@SelfEmployedStudentMum I bought just three items in the charity shops. I didn’t see any point just buying stuff for the sake of it! Thanks for your thoughts on MB. I do think that the people saying they’ve made 10s or even 100s of thousands matched betting are being disingenuous. It’s just not possible unless you’re involved in all manner of other types of betting activity, either individually or jointly. Do you ever consider doing anything in conjunction with other sellers online? I’m not quite sure what! I don’t blame you if you prefer running your own show, though!

Ps have you not been to charity shops because you’re buying more of your stuff online these days? Do you think it’s the way forward? I really appreciate your replies. I and others love your honest and relatable approach. No fancy bells and whistles.

Sales I’ve had no sales so far in January. And I been listing everyday roughly added 100 items so far. And not even a sniff, like yourself I’ve sent offers out. Just really confused with eBay. Just glade I sell on vinted as well.

Wow do you think listings are just not showing up in search or something? I've gone through one of my listed boxes today and couldn't find 4 of them at all

Just reduce your price and watchers, will get a notification of the price drop and the result will be the same.

I've had no offers to send out since Friday and had only 2 sales over the weekend and I have just under 400 listing

I just saw someone say on Instagram that ebay have stated sending offers to watchers has nothing to do with seller fees as its free to do, but clearly it is affecting all our sales! Hope it picks up for you soon!

@@yorkshiremix6877 they said 'site wide' so I'm guessing ebay.co.uk but hopefully someone from another country will comment and let us know
