mince and beans hotpot with mash and veg, my family grew up on it, sausage casserole too, cheap sausages taste fine in a stew with thick bisto and a tin of baked beans in it with onions, fed a family of 6 on one big hotpot most days

asda do a bowl of soup with crusty bread and butter for £1...its nice

I'm going to try Sainos! It's just the kindest when supermarkets help out,it's such a pity the government won't.

I've been watching your channel on and off for a couple of years, I had another account and was subscribed to you but got deleted for some weird reason!! You always give out really useful information. We always buy reduced items and nothing else, it's always worth asking for a further reduction on reduced food items as they want to get rid of it. Some are better at it than others I find the smaller Co-op's really customer friendly and helpful. We literally sit down to meals that cost Pennies. Its turned into a bit of a obsession! If somewhere has a fresh fish counter it's worth asking what's near its date. We got a sea food platter at Waitrose. The manager reduced it from £26.99 to 99p. Always worth asking as they throw fish out all the time.
