Steve is smart and didn't touch this show with a 10 foot pole. The same production company that does Man vs Food makes this show. Make sense now as to why it sucks so badly?

Apparemtly, hardtack is what lembas was based on since JRR Tolkien served in WW1 where hardtack was still issued in the British army.

Absolutely awesome and amazing.

The reunion footage they showed from 1:20 - 1:27 was from the 1938 reunion, not the 1913 reunion. Also, the newspaper it was wrapped in was from my birthday. I was born 79 yrs after the 1913 reunion.

Are you sure that's real. It seems very clean and the hard tack I had doesn't break up so easy and you can't bite thru it without soaking it. You seemed to break that up and eat it like it was a cracker for cheese. lol

Asian and European Markets often have hard tack and digestive biscuits, that are good for dunking in coffee. They also have various coffee choices.

Whoever created this show owes Steve1989MREinfo all of the money. Bunch of thieves.

I have ate chicken that was over 10 years old! It was ground chicken that had been frozen, i didn't get sick, but the flavor was gone, it had nearly no taste, the best by or expired date was like 10 years old when I are it, i bet that was like eating plaster! Ha-ha, not for me!

Basically you are correct. It was similar to what I'd think plaster would taste like. The thing is it always tasted bad. This was just at its over 100 year old worst.

Watching this seems like I wanted to visit the past and be part of it in a short time.

That boy smokey always tries to take the littlest bites or smallest sips of a drink on the show.

Steve mre shouldve been smokeys partner idk who the other guy is maybe a director just offered smokey a contract job for a show and put this together. Wouldve been soooo much more famous if Steve mre was on this as his partner. All in respect. This is so put on smokey usually just puts it down the hatch i hate when they make it Hollywood. Steve and Smokey eat this like nothing on their channels lol

Well ok. Couple things 1. If this is the best thing you’ve had on the table , you’ve lost me right there. No sub , won’t watch another ep. 2. Standard History channel format. (Old ,tired ,and boring format ) 3. We call them “Saltines” .... Wrap two in a news paper ,put them in a box in a cellar ,or attic for one week. I’ll bet they taste EXACTLY the same. 🤠🎸🎶🤷‍♂️🙏✌️
