Beautiful
Hi, Bonnie! Lovely scarf. I just bought the pattern. I saw you put link in a previous comment. Thanks. I have made two summer scarves already and plan to add this to my to do list. Teaching my granddaughter to crochet. She is 10 and has finished 3 washcloths and is now on a granny square baby blanket. I had her watch one of your earlier teaching patterns.

Sorry Deb! I don't have anything like this at this time.
Love the pattern however want to make it wider so wondering what the stitch repeats is?
As I watch this video, my mind keeps wandering to some silk fingering weight yarn that I have and I see a beautiful wrap developing. Can this pattern be converted to a wrap instead of scarf? Would finger weight yarn work with this pattern? The yarn you are using is absolutely gorgeous. Loving the color changes. Very nice and easy pattern. Thank you for sharing and teaching us this beautiful Trellis pattern.

I think you can use whatever thinner yarn (#2 fine, or sock, finger weight) you have in your stash Tammy. I think a wrap would be wonderful. You can easily widen this by adding multiples of 12 to the existing starting chain.

Thank you Ms. Bonnie....for the advice of the multiples of of 12 . This info is going to make it much easier to make a Wrap....I am excited to get this started....tested it out last night and had a good 12 in swatch in no time at all, but then I was not using the yarn I have planned for this...but very impressed with how easy and fast this worked up..... Thank you again for such a wonderful pattern and the advice...it is very much appreciated.
Hi, lovely pattern. I’d like to make this scarf a little narrower, say by 1/3 smaller, could you guide me on how many stitches make the actual pattern or how many stitches I would need etc please? Thank you X

That may be tricky since this scarf is already narrow. You can try a thinner yarn (sock or fingering weight) and a smaller hook to make it thinner.
Such a pretty pattern. Thank you. I can’t wait to give it a go. If you would can you give me the multiples for the starting chain in case I’d like to make it wider.. thanks again. (I didn’t know if you just chain 39 til desired length. (I thought maybe multiples of 3 or 6? Idk).

Just add multiples of 12 to the existing starting chain, and you should be fine Tammie.

Bonnie, I saw a tutorial of (I think) a poncho. Stitches were 1 tr 4 dc 1tr, with sc in between. Now I can’t find it. Can you redo that tutorial. This was very lacy. I did not get a chance to save it. I loved it. Hope you can help me.
Very nice. Do you suggest blocking?

That's a great questions Christina. it really depends upon your personal preference and the type of yarn you decide to use. It certainly won't hurt!
Thank you for this beautiful scarf. Could we use a 2 weight Marino?

I’m thinking the same as mint others in this thread. A wrap would be lovely. So do you know the repeat for this pattern to make it wider? Thanks in advance😍

Hi Bonnie, love the colors! and it looks easy to make. Googled the yarn and one of the places I found it is at WEBS (yarn.com). Will order it soon😊. The thinner yarn I have is # 3. Would it work?
Hi Bonnie, I would love to make this Gorgeous pattern into a shawl... What is the stitch multiple of, so I can make it bigger? Thanks!

It looks like this yarn is now discontinued. I know that my local store, So Original in Sandy Spring, MD may still have this in stock. Here's her website, but you may need to call to see if she will ship to you: sooriginal.com. Another option is Ebay. I know there is a lot of yarn like this out there.
Can you please post the pattern? I can't seem to find it.
