    Thanks I for the tutorial. I am thinking about making as a scarf and leaving the ends loose rather than joining together. It might be interesting to put three tassels in the opposite ends, two on one end and one on the other. Another idea is fringe that would be a point on one end and an inverted point on the other. Might be interesting. . . .

    Theresa Lockwood it’s a lovely, breathable fiber, and will stretch out slightly (like cotton) over time. Great for scarves, but no so much for sweaters.

    I would like to make the scarf wider (for winter). I was thinking just one extra group of stiches on each side. How many should I start for the initial chain? Just six extra stiches?

    You can add multiples of 23 to the original starting chain for each additional ripple you wish to add Rachel.

    Oh dear! Perhaps you can send me a few snapshots of what is going on to bonniebay@me.com. I'm guessing that you are not skipping enough spaces at the bottom of the chevron? If you count the clusters at the end of the row that will tell. You are most likely adding in extra clusters somewhere.

    You can certainly give any a try Lillian! I think this works best with a DK weight yarn, but could be a nice winter scarf if you use a thicker weight.

    Bonnie, instead of making this infinity, I made 2 panel sides with chevrons both going up. Now im trying to put them together. Ihave the tips together. And trying to granny square them together. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you.

    Shirley Razey I connected them in a circle with opposite sides matching up. I have not considered what you are attempting.

    After four hours of numerous attempts I finally figured it out. I did the granny stitch up one side of the left panel, at the chain two I did three dc then did three dc in Ch2 of second panel, and continued the granny st down to the end.Ch3 in final Ch3. Then Ch3 and turn. Back up second panel and attach to first. Basically I did the valley of the ripple between the two panels and then did the opposite side the same. It turned out perfect. Now sewing in loose threads.
