"EASY" RUN @
Welcome to another episode of Marathon Training in Kenya with Luis Orta! This year we bring you a ton of great new content from the Home of Champions: Iten, Kenya! In this season, we meet up with some of the huge groups that train together in Iten, joining them on long runs, medium long runs, fartleks, track workouts, easy runs, and more! We have some special guests, including Olympic medalist Paul Chelimo who was born and raised in Iten.
In this episode, the crew goes on an "easy" run, which progresses up to 3:30/k! We also get to know each member of the team better, overcome an unexpected hurdle, and preview next week's killer track session with Olympic Medalist Paul Chelimo. No training day in Iten is ever wasted, even on an easy run.
Thanks for watching!

@kudzanaichiwara9140
2 жыл бұрын
But 3'30" can't be easy run let's maybe say moderate for distance runners because it's close to race pace 3:00-3:20/km. Off which they are switching pace at first they look slower around 4min/km which they changed later during their run.

Hi, how many times do you do these climbs at the end? They always do that, I run barefoot here in Portugal, there are only rock climbs, I'll have to get sneakers, I've been running with shoes for 2 years, I always do it slowly in the end, yes, the climbs activate the parasympathetic system but I'm going to start doing something climbs without going to death, running there is brutal, there is no way to run barefoot at will I take a parallel but I have fun barefoot, when I turn 30 maybe I'll do a marathon
