Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

These soft and fudgy chocolate crinkle cookies are a foolproof, classic holiday treat that’s almost as fun to make as it is to eat!
If you haven’t had them before chocolate crinkle cookies are soft brownie-like and so rich. Some people think they’ll be crunchy or crisp because of the exterior but that isn’t the case!
Full Recipe: preppykitchen.com/chocolate-c...
These chocolate crinkles are great over the holidays but you can freeze them and have a special treat whenever you have a chocolate craving, they don't have to be just Christmas cookies!

I was born and raised in Germany and didn’t know about the cups till I arrived here. 30 years later they still make no sense. I always use a scale. It gets ridiculous when it’s odd things as fours cups of green beans, etc. I have tried to explain the concept of cups to friends and family and it leads to endless discussions about what a cup size is and why in the world you wouldn’t own a scale 😂

You’re the one who introduced me to the scale. I use it all the time for making tiered cakes and all of the rest of my baking. I love it and will never go back! It’s a bit different at first, but doing it, you learn how much more sense it really does make with baking. Thank you! I look forward to making these cookies too, I can’t wait! I hope they freeze well, but I’m thinking they will. Oh, and the tiered cake bit, I learned to do from watching You Tube videos. Your cake batters are by far the best too! The vanilla cake batter is my favorite. 💕

John, I made these for the first time, using the olive oil. I was sceptical about using the olive oil but you were right, they were delicious. I used two teaspoons to scoop out the chilled batter and roll into the powder sugar to form the balls. I did not have to wash my hands between cookie trays in and out of the oven. My new favorite. I always introduce a new cookie to my tray each year. Thanks for this delicious treat.

I'm on school vacation so I have seized the time off to bake off a ton of your recipes. And you know what? I even made your cucumber pickled onion salad and it was such a hit (I'll be making it again for a fourth time today, we have been putting that salad on everything, in a bowl by itself, incredible in a sandwich, incredible on crackers, cheese and crackers, on baguette, with thin apple slices, YUM, it's practically a condiment). I'll be buying your book when I have the money for sure. You have easily become my favorite youtube channel. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!

Good Morning and "Thank-You" for the terrific tutorials on baking and cooking. For these cookies I put Peppermint candies and powdered sugar in the cuisinart and blended. But before I rolled them I placed a peppermint swirled chocolate kiss in the center. I found if I chilled them for about 30 minutes, then bake , they came out perfect. Just another variation on a great recipe.
