Hello, thank you so much for this fabulous design. I've only made afghans so far but I'm learning to crochet hats and now will attempt this cardigan ,thanks to your wonderful channel and easy to follow instructions. I'm donating the hats to the homeless shelters and will tell them they're your designs. Thank you again, you're extremely talented.

NOTE to anyone not sure if they can actually make a sweater... This channel IS definitely for you!! I've known how to crochet for well over 50 yrs. Up until the pandemic, all I'd ever really made was blankets/afghans and a few things, of my own design, for my daughters baby dolls when they were little. I thought I couldn't possibly be able to make something anyone would want to wear, especially in public😂. Everything looked so complicated. My grandmother taught me the basics... how to chain, sc and dc. I'm not sure why this was all she taught me, perhaps she thought I wasn't really as interested as I actually was or it could be that I wasn't around her enough or at the right times. I do remember, towards the last 5 or so years of her life, she had stopped crocheting and when I asked one day why, she said it was because she had such bad arthritis in her thumb. Sadly she passed away when I was only 24 but I never forgot what she had taught me and continued to crochet here and there but I was a young mother raising 3 children so there wasn't a lot of time to crochet. Fast forward to 2 yrs ago and BAM the pandemic hit and George Floyd was all over the news. I decided I would make a blanket while I watched what was going on with the world. I started to make this basket weave pattern blanket on the very day of his death and now my family calls it the George Floyd blanket. I'll admit, I wasn't even sure I could make that blanket because I had never heard of post stitches but I gave it a go and found it was actually quite easy to do. This jump started me back into the love of crochet and I ventured out looking for other stuff to make. This is when I stumbled onto this channel and saw sweater patterns. I thought to myself... you can at least try. If it doesn't look good you can always frog it and make something else. The first worked fine but I didn't like how it looked on me so I made another from a different pattern. That 1 turned out great but was a little to big so I tried again. This time it was to small. I gave it 1 more try and I'm so glad I did coz that 1 was PERFECT and I absolutely love it. So if anyone reading this is unsure of their abilities and you know the basics of crochet, I ENCOURAGE YOU TO TRY. There's no harm in trying and if you don't like it, keep trying. If I can do it anyone can so don't give up. I'm saving this video for a future project. I'm currently in the middle of a move so it will have to wait for me to unpack my crafting room. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with all of us. This will be at least the 4th if not 5th sweater I've made from tutorials on this channel. God Bless.
