Most people are a medium to large so this is only for tiny people.

So that I get the right amount of yarn, what size are you making so I can determine an XL?

She explains that you need to measure yourself to get your size, then when you know those measurements you do multiples of chain 4s until you get that length. If she said 44 chains, her 44 chains maybe not be as long or longer than your 44 chains. This is something you need to work out yourselves.

When your giving a tutorial for a lace cardigan you should provide details on different sizes, otherwise its no use to anyone else if its only one size. Most people are not extra small or just small. Your the person who has made this lovely lace cardigan.
