Thank you for the video I learn so much from this collaboration
I have never heard of this! Thank you for sharing
I love onion jam. I like to use it on my garlic bread I make. Toasted or broiled in the oven it's spectacular! This is a different recipe for me. I've always done the slices instead of diced. Another one to try. Watching your husband scraping the pan gave me an idea. Baked potato! With this on it, yummy
Want to make this for sure
I think my husband would like this as a condiment. Thank you for showing us how to do it and how to use it. I really appreciate that.

LeAnn, I love your apron!!!! I have looked at this recipe before in the Ball Blue Book and was thinking of different ways to use it, since it wont get used like a traditional fruit jam would - at least not in this house. I think it would make a lovely condiment spread or as an compliment when cooking pork or chicken. Thank you for doing a beginner friendly recipe also. :)
Thanks for the video. I've never had onion jam of any kind, but it looks like it would be good. Gonna have to try it.
This is a great jam!! I have made this before but kinda forgot about it so thank you for refreshing my memory! Great job explaining the steps!❤😊
Hi, LeeAnn! Wow, this looks so good! I have that book and the recipe checked to make one of these days. Looks like a good spring project. Thank you!

I absolutely LOVE this recipe! It's so very good with anything you pair it with! I don't remember using maple syrup in mine. I could have used local honey.... I know I was the only one that loved it in my house...I have a excess of onions right now so I could make this up this week! Thank you!

Well I never! Balsamic Onion Jam? This is new to me, LeAnne you make even onions sound delicious. I think this would be real good on Indian foods too, like Samosas. Yum! Looked pretty in the jars too.
Hi LeAnn, You could actually can the water in the extra jars as emergency use water for when the power is out. I love your videos!

Yes I wanted to try it as it was written first. I know it tasted sweet on the steak. 🥩 try it with one teaspoon first.
I always forget about this in the book but it looks delicious! Thanks for reminding me I need to try it! I bet it was delicious on that steak. ❤

Sounds so good I have that books as well and need to make this. Oh and I also love the apron. ❤
This looks delicious and I bet some of the cowboy candy would have been delightful on that steak. YUM! Thank you for sharing this recipe.
I bypassed this recipe many times thinking it sounded gross. Last summer I had several very beautiful onions from my CSA and they just called out basaltic onion jam. I gave in and figured I’d just give it away. It’s delicious!
