Hello Random Repairs, I have updated my Nokia Lumia 1520 to: Version 1607, OS Build: 10.0.14393.2551 I have access to the Windows Store, and able to download apps now, would you recommend changing my phone model to the 950, so I can get further updates on the 1520, or is there no point? If you update it to latest version you will get better app compatibility. Maybe slightly better Microsoft edge experience. I don't think windows 10 mobile can be infected by virus.

You can directly install appx file for xap you have to use cmd injector.

Interoo unlocking x50 devices is different. Check out w10m KZread channel, you will be able to find the tutorial there.

if I have already installed the interop 1.7 do I just install this one over it or I have to unistall the other one first? Also I have a 925 but changed the name to 950xl for do the updating, do I have to change it back to 925 for select the files or I select the files that are for 950xl?

Do a hard reset, it will restore the model number to original one. If you have inroptool 1.7 installed, if you can unlock the device with it then you're good to go.

Transfer the wut filed on your phone. Install the certificate and manually install dependencies and wut.

Maybe you have to reset your phone and try. Or maybe you haven't installed the dependencies required for WUT that's why you're getting this error.

@@RandomRepairz Unfortunately I think it is too late for my phone as I followed this tutorial and turned on Restore NDTKSvc and it can't be turned off. Which means I can only get halfway through the x50 tutorial using the vcReg10 method. I think my phone is now useless. I have messaged them on the W10 Group forum, but not sure if they will be able to help. Perhaps you should put a warning in your comments

Don't try it on x50 devices. The process of interop unlocking is different from non x50 devices. So, if you have x50 device referee to W10M Group on KZread. After unlocking the device you can follow the rest of the video,

You have to update your phone to get Microsoft store working. You have to change your phone model number to get further update.

@@RandomRepairz thanks for the tip. Actually I had upgraded my phone to WM 10 some years ago by following similar tutorial like yours, since 720 is not officially supported. That time, after upgrade it was showing model like 1520 or something. Then few weeks back, my phone fell on the floor and after struggling for few days, I brought it back to life by simply pressing the volume up/down and power buttons. It appears that the phone reset itself. I was expecting it to reset to Windows 8.1, but it's showing windows 10 but model is 720, no longer 1520! I already tried to update, but unfortunately it says you already have latest version. Now how can I change the model to higher version? Any tips for that? Thanks
