Who Should Buy the Dyson V7?
The Dyson V7 is a stick vacuum with the ability to break down into a handheld vacuum. Powerful suction, a long battery run time, several cleaning tools / accessories, and a quality build all combine to create a cordless vacuum well worth considering.
I would recommend the Dyson V7 if you’re looking for the following features in a stick vacuum:
Want a 2-in-1 vacuum - The Dyson V7 is primarily known for its stick configuration, but it also has the ability to be used as a handheld. With the exception of the floor heads, all of the tools included with the V7 work with both the stick and handheld configurations.
Want a lightweight stick vacuum - When fully assembled as a stick vacuum, the Dyson V7 weighs 5.45 pounds. This is light enough for most people to lift above their head and clean above the ground, in addition to on the ground.
Need a good run time - This Dyson cordless vacuum offers a 30 minute run time when fully charged.
Don’t mind a higher price tag - Although the V7 has a lot to offer, the price point is not low. If budget is not an issue, then the V7 could be a good choice. Otherwise, you may want to explore more inexpensive units, like Dyson’s V6 model.

It will not be, no.
It's worth noting that the v7 absolute has been 'remastered' and re released to include a HEPA filter and a improved bin system. It essentially has every single feature of the v7 range now. Great video though!

Did the same but returned motorhead origin to Target because it didn't have the hepa filter. Got the hepa for the same price $179.99 and the 4000mAh battery and mini motor head.

With polished cork floors I wouldn't take the chance...get the V7 Absolute so you can get the soft roller brush cleaning head. That will assure your floors are not scratched.

I'd suggest the V7 Absolute (due to the soft roller brush). Or you could just buy a standalone soft roller brush here - amzn.to/329c49l
If I understood correctly, all main parts are exactly the same. so here are my questions: 1. can I simply add the hepa filter to models that do not have it? 2. how does trigger model compare to rest? Can I just buy accessories I need for it with no worries?

I don't believe the HEPA filters are interchangeable between the models. While they are similar, I think they are different enough that they cannot simply be swapped. Even so, the HEPA filters are inexpensive to replace if needed. Do you mean the V7 Trigger? That's the standalone handheld version. Yes, you can buy extra accessories if you decide you need them.

I have the v7 absolute. It doesnt have a hepa filter but I found out that the all types of V7 and V8 models have the exact same pieces that fit into each other. So I went on Ebay and bought a V7 animal main body for 30 bucks and replace my absolute's mainbody with it so I can have a HEPA filter.
3:57 That's the V10 fluffy head. V7 fluffy head doesn't have the blue non-motorized roller on the back, just wheels. Although, you can use the V10 fluffy head with V7. V10 flufy head also has more power 30W versus 20W on V7.

You're correct, it is the V10 Fluffy head. Which we have clearly annotated at the bottom of the video. We only have the V7 Motorhead model, which does not include the fluffy head. There are a number of V7 models that include the fluffy cleaning head if you want.

@@AzNightmare Fluffy will perform better on hardwoods, but worse on carpet. I would not recommend using the Fluffy on carpet. That said, the multi-surface brushroll is fine on both carpets and hard surfaces.

Depends on budget...I'd put them in this order. Dyson V7 Absolute > Shark Rocket Pet Pro > Dyson V7 Animal > Dyson V7 Motorhead

We didn't do any extended tests on the V7 with the soft roller, but based on our long-term tests with other Dyson soft rollers we have not experienced any hair tangling issues to date.
How about V7 allergy ? Which four categories it falls into?

V7 Allergy is technically it's out category, but it's probably most similar to the V7 HEPA. It has a multi-surface brushroll, HEPA filter, and a more limited accessory pack (from what I can tell). Run time, suction, dust bin size, etc. is the same as other V7s.

Complete stick vacuum includes more accessories, but just a couple of extra things.

Absolute has more accessories, including the soft roller brush. In addition, it includes a HEPA filter. Motorhead has only basic accessories, a single multi-surface brushroll, and no HEPA filter.

Yep, it's excellent. It has all the power of a full sized stick vacuum, but is still easy to clean in the carpet with the crevice tool and mini motorized brushroll.

Unfortunately, you cannot. The body of the V7 Motorhead and versions that include a HEPA filter are different. In the Motorhead and other non-HEPA versions the end cap is simply a hard plastic. In versions with a HEPA filter it has a twistable end, which is where the HEPA filter goes, itself becoming the end of the vacuum's body.
Now what's the difference with the V7 SLIM?

Slim seems to be a V7 Motorhead, just named something different as a special country / retailer model.

You can use the central filter from the V7 Animal on a V7 Motorhead. However, you cannot use the rear HEPA filter on the V7 Motorhead, as there simply is no way to connect it.

is great machine and very lightweight ! DYSON V7 is related more best with dyson V8 than with Dyson V6 ..The only difference between V7 and V8 is the MOTOR and the BAttery as anything else including the dust bin and the cyclone are shared between V7 and V8 ..The V7 very easily can be upgraded to V8 by replacing the motor and the battery of V7 with the motor and Battery of V8 ..and that is how the V7 can become V8 if needed without the need to purchase entirely new machine !.. Also i think the V8 battery fits V7 (not sure about that so you can do a video for that ) ..as some sellers are selling V8 batteries for V7 vacuum cleaners that claiming it fits both V7 and v8

It's just a way for Dyson to offer a different set of features / accessories. But both HEPA and Animal include a HEPA filter and have the same features, functionality, run time, etc.
