Dyson Omni-Glide Full Review - The Good & The Bad.

Today I am reviewing my new Dyson Omni-Glide. After watching this video, you will be able to make an educated decision if this stick vacuum cleaner is right for you.
Dyson unveils a brand new way to clean, with the first Omni-directional Fluffy cleaner head
Dyson’s Omni-glide cordless vacuum all-new compact cord free format engineered for city living delivers a brand new way to clean hard floors. Featuring the first omni-directional Fluffy cleaner head that glides in all directions - forwards, backwards, and even sideways - and picks up large debris and fine dust. It floats across floors effortlessly, maneuvers around obstacles and fits into tight spaces.
Chasing fine, floating dust across the living room floor. Reaching under the sofa to capture hidden dust. Catching the last piece of cereal under the kitchen table. Traditional vacuums typically struggle with getting into hard-to-reach spaces and are inflexible to the daily assault course of cleaning obstacles at home.
The Dyson Omni-glide™ vacuum delivers a brand new way to clean hard floors. It’s the first ever Dyson vacuum cleaner engineered for daily cleaning in city homes, making it the perfect choice for users who like to vacuum often and get into the difficult nooks and crannies. Its omnidirectional Fluffy™ cleaner head[2] has been engineered to glide in all directions - forwards, backwards and even sideways. Rearranged into a new in-line format, the machine can lie flat and clean in tight spaces.
The Dyson Omni-glide has also been engineered with an in-line format, with the separation system, the motor, filter and handle all aligned, to enable the machine to lie flat to the floor[3] and clean in tight spacesi, such as under a sofa or between furniture. This new format is the result of extensive research, including 470 hours of trials with 277 users in their homes across six countries.
With this new format, the engineers had to design a machine that had the core Dyson technologies - including a Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor - concentrated and rearranged in-line but still able to achieve no loss of suction, and spins at up to 105,000rpm. Dyson engineers have also maintained the Dyson five-stage filtration proprietary technology, even in this compact format, which ensures the machine can efficiently suck up fine dust hidden in those hard-to-reach places and capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, all while expelling cleaner air.
Omnidirectional Fluffy™ cleaner head
The Dyson Omni-glide™ is the first omnidirectional Fluffy™ cleaner head that floats on four 360° stabilising castors which allow it to move effortlessly in all directions and into tight spaces. It is our most maneuverable vacuum due to two core technologies: the omnidirectional fluffy cleaner head and the in-line format. The castors' height and placement were engineered to ensure minimal resistance - whether rolling forwards, backwards or sideways. Sealed ball bearings also allow for a smooth change of direction and minimise build-up of dirt.
The Dyson Omni-glide also comes with four tools - for cleaning up high, down low and anywhere in between. These tools include a light pipe crevice tool with LED lights to show you where you’re cleaning, even in dark spaces, a mini motorised tool to tackle hair and ground-in dirt, a worktop tool and a combination tool.
Other key features of the Dyson Omni-glide™ include:
Easy, smoother bin emptying: the straight, slim bin has an ejection mechanism with a rotary catch to drive out dust in one smooth action. A silicone collar wipes down the mesh shroud to drive out dust without dirtying your hands.
Power button: It has a power button instead of the classic trigger, meaning users can swap hands while navigating obstacles, making cleaning that much easier.
Easy maintenance: To remove dust build-up, you can wash the bin, filter, brush bar, and any tools without electronic components.
Removable, fade-free, energy-dense battery: enables up to 20 minutes run time. Swapping the battery has been made easy with the click-in structure where owners can remove and replace at the press of a button. *Additional battery and charger are available to buy separately on Dyson.com.
The wall dock: enables users to lean the machine into the recharging dock, ready for your next clean.

Honestly I've owned a ton of Dyson vacuums and even the worst one will pick up the cereal on low. There is no way that your vacuum was not clogged up or some other problem.

I'm pretty sure I just purchased a glorified bug catcher. At least it's light weight, but it should have the light wand attachment as standard for those dark ceiling corners.

I disagree, i think there's just not a tight-enough seal created for the required suction powerful enough for dirt to deify gravity and travel up to the dust canister for the larger items. The motor is nowhere as powerful as the rest the rest of the lineup, that's why it has no issues bringing things in with the roller, but strugglers to suck them up after, the airflow is just too low.

@@shikharkalsi9692 common sense buddy, if the inlet is clogged it won’t pick up anything. It was picking up everything until it clogged and you can hear the motor pitch change.

@@tomobrien1853 i guess even if you are right, the fact that it clogs so easily is a huge negative point.

I have this hoover and it is by far the worst hoover made! the head is an absolute joke! the rollers are constantly blocked, with hair, fur, dust and anything else on your floor! it stops the hoover from moving when your trying to hoover up, it was the best thing ever! for a week, then it went to shit! a massive waste of money, rather lie on the floor, pull myself around and use my tongue to pick up dust, this guy reviewing obviously has never used the hoover and is paid to tell people its great when in fact its far from! waste of money

this is michaels wife, my husband passed away almost 2 years ago but i can answer on his behalf on your comment ,first of all this is not a hoover, this is a dyson, hoover is owned by TTI floor care north America, Dyson is owned by Dyson James LTD. i had this dyson for for a year and it still works great you just need to maintain it as directed by my husband's videos, and second , my husband has never been paid by any of these products for his reviews, he was always very honest about them
