The Omni Glide is one of two Dyson launches along with the V15. This model introduces the new Omnidirectional tool that Dyson says is the most maneuverable. I've tested it extensively and turns effortlessly. It's easily the best steering cordless vacuum I've tested.
It has two soft rollers so it can clean in both directions. Add the 360-degree steering, it can go from side to side.

I hope competitors imitate this design. It's so unique and seems to be so practical.
This vacuum cleans in both directions - forwards and backwards which saves time - no need to swivel the head. Other dyson stick vacs only pickup stuff going forward because of the way the roller rotates.

Can the Dyson omni-glide fit the Dyson hair scree tool attachment or the V12 Moterbar cleaner head?
Does it work well picking up sand?

Getting this when I grow up
With the upholstery attachment coming with the box, it was a good choice to go with. I just wished we had got the fancy LED light crevice too :D

Thanks for the great review. The decibel level is a big turn off for me. Do you know of any decent cordless stick vacuums that aren’t super loud?

Unfortunately, most cordless stick vacuums will be loud, Dysons in particular are notoriously noisy..

i have it. it isnt too loud compared to other cordless.
Very good and spot on review. I also watched your cordless Rocket Vertex Duo review, and went with that one due to the hair feature. We have a chow that sheds like crazy, and the Rocket Vertex rollers very rarely get tangled. Thanks for your vids!

Some of the best I've tested - Dyson V15 Detect (the high torque is great), Dreame T30 also great on long strands. The Shark Vertex is also excellent.
Does this dubbel soft roller fit on the Dyson V12?.

Depends on usage. I suggest once a week. It's easy, use a clean towel to remove debris accumulation

@@CordlessVacuumGuide okay great to know. I saw dyson recommended cleaning the wheels and their bearings out after each use with a tweezer. That seemed crazy.
