He always felt the need even prior to that and during that like he had to prove himself. Stop the cap! You know let's say for example sports who would you naturally think would be better based on appearance? However that same person can be way better! However because of height they get put on more pressure. This ain't got a damn thing to do with women.

True be told we all have insecurities but that’s what makes us different. Just have to learn to embrace and love you for who you are . A couple years ago I would gladly switch places with this guy ; trade him my height for his hair lol . Ive learned to love myself and accept who I am . I embrace having a bald head and have higher confidence now more then ever . Once he accepts himself then he’ll begin to love himself more .

He was literally my height. I've always wanted this. I was also in the military. This should be free to vets. Respect brotha. I would like to be 5'7. 3 or 4 more inches. I'm currently 5'4. I honeslty feel like I was suppose to be taller. Physical match my spirit. Gravity ain't it. I loved his journey. I love how wholesome he is. Best of luck Soldier. The Marine by mistake shirt is funny. lol. This facility is a No Brainer. 6 months in another country. They take care of you and you get what you came for. I'm a Heterosexual Woman. I want this NOW. I truly believe his military experience prepared him for a fast recovery and the challenge. To be honest I love America but, I dont Know if I would come back to the US. I would have stayed in Turkey. The Medical system seems to be more attentive. So much humanity in this journey. Yoooooo the song at the end...... WOW

Military huh? I was in the Marine Corps and there is a few guys from my unit that are double and triple amputees from getting blown up in Afghanistan. There isn't much left for them to grow. I think that this dude is weird and... no I don't think the VA should offer this. He pay with his own insurance, or out of pocket or whatever. There's guys who are snapped up really bad from ruck marches and you're talking about we should get this height bs. You know what they have at the VA for this confidence problem? It's called mental health treatment. VA isn't gonna damage your body so that you can't stand A LITTLE taller. being taller really does not help as much as people think.

Well, first of all I thank you for your service to our beautiful nation. When you said that you were 5’4 , I felt sorry for you because I assumed you were a fellow man, however , it turns out that you are a WOMAN? What are you complaining about? I don’t get it ! First of all, you are average height for a woman here in the U.S. , so, it’s illogical for you to call yourself “short”. Second , nobody cares about women’s height , nobody thinks that a woman is a “loser” because of her height. Third, most men get this surgery only to satisfy women’s desire for a tall man, now, men would never think that a woman is “ugly” or “undesirable” as a result of her height. I’m sorry if my comment was mean.

I wish i was taller cause my parents are not short but, i would never do this due to long term consequences, these people will be on wheelchair as they get older really sad. We should learn to love ourselves. The differences between us is what makes us especial. It's doesn't matter if you are tall or short if you are a smart person you will always find a way to achieve anything and height won't mean nothing if you are dumb.
