Sorry to hear of your crash. Sucks. Lost a 1/4 scale p47 to elevator failure recently.

Man I hate to see this carnage! I had minor issues with the ESCs getting too hot and cutting out, but nothing like this. Hope you can get a kit or salvage parts for the rebuild.

Unlucky mate,i have also been using ec3 connectors for some time with no issues and up to 65 amps.Honestly i think you connector was fine,i would say either bad esc or radio issue.Great video buddy.

Very 1st thing ya gotta do on the Dynam 262 Jet is punch out those gun ports to bring in fresh cool air to the battery and esc,s and then you should carve out and air exit hole on the bottom side half way between the canopy n tail section. Remember 2 ESC.s to 2 70mm Edf,s are gonna pull some serious amperage!!!

sorry to see your plane like this:( Dont blame your soldering or battery connectors , they should hold the amperage fine. As a point of interest , mine died for a few seconds too , thankfully it was still on the ground,. I would check all the y-leads ans ESC connectors . we all learn from our mistakes !! I have crashed 100 planes hahahaah HappyFlying.

I have had that happen to me before. There are 2 60 amp esc. I have the same plane and I use the admiral pro 5000 60c. never gets that hot.

those esc's will draw up to 120 amps. ec3 is not the best thing for that much current would have been better if you had ec5, or when you soldered it you might not have gotten it hot enough. It sucks none the less sorry it happened.
