I appreciate how they managed to write a character you explicitly dislike, but can still respect.

Character development. He's actually much better towards the end of the game. I wish we had missions together.

The problem was, I hated Chikane so much more than Macready. He was this game's Pritchard, Chikane was just the absolut worst arsehole, and with all but no character development.

@@MioRaem Considering they had to cut the story short for the game we got, I bet there was a good deal of development they'd written and planned for Chikane (and others). What a shame. Even with a somewhat incomplete game, they put in so much detail to find via environmental storytelling for characters like Chikane that it makes it so intriguing to imagine what the rest of the planned plot had you doing to experience and learn more about someone like him. We know his leg was injured during the Aug Incident. We know he has a brother who's institutionalized in some way, and Chikane pays for it. We know Chikane finds it hard to keep paying for his brother's care. We know someone else knew this and contacted him to help "lighten the load," probably as a way of exploiting him. We know this was probably successful, because Chikane seems to have tipped off the enemy to Jensen's mission to GARM, explaining Marcenko's ambush, capture, and attempted killing of Jensen. What else were we supposed to experience and learn about him thanks to the story?

the entire Task Force 29 office is packed with lore to catch up on. thats the idea of the series

@@GrigRP I have replayed this game like a million times but I mostly let Singh live so I havent ran into this convo.

Kinda crazy how a game made in 2016 still can't sync up mouth movements with the audio or is that the Deus Ex style. I loved Human Revolution, but I was expecting this game to look a lot better with the mouth synchronization.
