I've been working on my family genealogy for a while, and the name Dembo Sickles isn't one you hear often, but I have one in my family tree. Sure enough, it turns out that Rocky Johnson is a distant cousin, meaning I'm distantly related to Dwayne!

The Rock has never down played his Black Nova Scotian heritage and he has actual done things that promoted the history of his black side of the family, but outside of the local community media and some black owned media outlets it does get the same coverage of when he talk about his Samoan side. Let be honest here, the big media outlets has always had a problem covering black history because he brings up troubling aspects of USA history that they feel uncomfortable talking about.

In a People Profiles stream I saw on John Adams they claimed that John's ancestor, Henry Adams, and mine as well came from a place in England called Braintree, thus the name of the place where they settled in Massachusetts, but a book published about my family history line claims that Henry came from Barton-St. David in Somerset. I'm going to be honest, I think Jacob Fatu deserves more recognition. He is arguably the most talented member of the Fatu family working today.

Hey Matt I took my 23&Me and got my results and it shows that I have some Ashkenazi Jewish relatives from some generations past. My other full blood sister didn’t seem to receive it in hers nor my half sister who shares the same dad as us. I know genetics aren’t all the same 50-50 we get from each parents. Just thought it was wild and wanted to share.

I've often been interested in Samoan people, especially those in college football. I worked with a Samoan gentleman in Southern California and became familiarized with their culture.

Possible addition: iirc from promo surrounding Moana, Dwayne Johnson mentioned how one of his favorite Disney princesses might be Jasmine, or he might just be a doting dad because he has a daughter named Jasmine. Presumably, that's one of his children with Lauren Hashian.

I’m guessing that Matt is purposely keeping the names of minor children and living adults who are not in public life off the chart. That is standard practice for privacy reasons. Mentioning your daughter’s name in an offhand comment in an interview doesn’t equate to putting her in the public eye. So maybe when Jasmine and her sibling are older, the chart could be updated.
