Quran is a strict book of do's and don'ts nothing else, as usual it has misogynist, patriarchal and hate towards non muslims verses. Following it line by line can make one hard wired in their mindset and their coming generations too. There is no philosophical and intellectual insights into it.

There were holiness denominations before the third great awakening. The Wesleyan Methodists broke from the Methodist Church over the issue of slavery before the civil war. They merged with a holiness denomination in the 1960s forming the Wesleyan church that is around today.

The Quran claims Jesus was never crucified (4:157), but all the church fathers and christians 600 years before Islam believed Jesus was crucified. Paul also says he was crucified Source First Epistle Of Clement (90ad) by Pope clement (90ad) 1 Cor 2:1-2 1 Cor 1:23 etc

It's funny that instead of changing the actual position of year zero historians just painted a veneer over the christian influence. Perhaps soon we can each have our smart glasses automatically convert dates to the calendar of our choosing, be it hijri, shamsi, the birthday of eric schmidt or ourselves. Or we can do away with numbers and seize time's marketing opportunities as in Infinite Jest.

I’m half way through the video. I’ve notice that you’ve covered Africa, and other indigenous continental communities with Christianity, Islam etc. Can you do another video to account more for religions that predate these “modern” religions? These indigenous folk religions have been interrupted and severely devalued. Dont leave them to a footnote. Jamaica has created Rastafarianism and retained Obeah and Kumina. It would be good to hear about them because they are what reminds us as black people that we were our own correct and righteous people with our own sense of worship and reverence as spiritual peoples.

There are a lot of religions and traditions that could be added, ie Dravidian, Caucasian, Uralic, Altaic, Sino-Tibetan, Austroasiatic, Austronesian, Tai/Miao, Koreanic/Japonic, Paleosiberian, Native American. Though maybe they aren’t big enough/listed under a different name.

Missing the huge cultural divide between antizionist and zionist jews and the merger of Jewish identity with Israeli support felt extremely antisemetic to me. The tiny catchall at the end left me almost more frustrating than had it not been mentioned at all. Give Israelism a watch. Great film!

But how could Muhammad SAW use these texts if there were no arabic translations and you didnt even include the way it was written and none of it can be imitated. What about the mistakes the quran didnt include from these other sources. Like how the Ruler in moses's time was a pharao and the one in Josephs time was also a pharao. The quran says the ruler at the time of moses was a pharaoh but not the one at the time of joseph. This information has been uncovered in the last 100 years

What you have missed is that the vocabulary of the coran is "devine level". No human can produce it. Not Muhammad, and no other arab at that time and none after could come up with that... the arabs who didn't believe in Muhammad back then were saying his words are the result of socery and he got help by Genies... It's actually the miracle of the coran : to be preserved and to be a clear words of god to a native arab speaker.

Why are Mormons not colored purple, like other Christian groups? They are definitely Christians by all but the most narrow definitions. They literally have Christ in their name. A similar question about Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Harry has supposedly registered to be a citizen of the USA and is not classed as a citizen of England so his titles are not accepted in America as it is a republic country Whether he still holds it officially in England now is questionable. His children will not be a part of Royal life if MM and PH continue to choose them to be American citizens. However, I cannot see this as a reality. In truth Archie holds the title of Prince, he is a British subject and American citizen known as dual citizenship being the son of an English father and an American mother. Lili is a princess but cannot use this title officially in America as it is only formally carried in England. She has dual citizenship because she is the daughter of an English father and an American mother born in America. How this affects her title is questionable if she remains in America. If Archie and Lilibet stay in the USA, they will be unable to benefit from the titles as they are only warranted in THE UNITED KINGDOM and not America as being a republic country ..

Yes, in Quran, there are information of other Prophets and there stories like Bible and Torah. There are some similar stories also. I found these also information are to alert human about the lord whe send us on earth and what purpose. It also says how nation of jinn became disobedient. As a result he destroyed it. Moreover, it has some some testament also. In support of Mariam RA (mother Merry) . Sura Mariam came so that people know her place is very high and she was pure.

The Hebrew root ALP can mean "a thousand", but also "a unit" - like a squad, or even "a member of a unit of a thousand". Enough of this 2 million stuff already. There was always two-way traffic between Egypt and Canaan, and there is plenty of evidence of a population shift in the latter around the presumed time of Joshua/Judges. It could have been due to arrival of one group or many, and an influential leader of one group could have been named Aardvark - does that really change the global outcome of monotheism that arose somewhere in the desert south of Egypt, some time in the Late Bronze Age? Same really applies to Zoroaster, Buddha, Jesus and Muhammad - the impact of eponymous ideologies is plain for all to see, so does it matter what their founders really looked and smelled like?
