Good video. Couple of questions, please. -All the air needs to be out before adjusting OTT, right? -Is zero OTT at fully clockwise, or counter-clockwise? The manual says like 5 full rotations for my wight. So the is five rotations clockwise, or counter clockwise?

DVO says (on the general subject of adjusters) "Think of it as a bolt. Closed would be all the way tight and open would be all the way loose. ...it is like that for all our forks and shocks. The LSC on our forks are the only ones that would be reversed direction as 1 is open and 6 is closed. The direction that you turn that knob is reversed."

they probably didnt know that , i mean this video is 8 years old .... i had my diamond for 4 years .. I didnt know i had to let the air out too! must be a recent development ?

How does having too much OTT cause you to lose overall travel? It is counter intuitive for me since it makes the fork softer through initial travel . I started with the base tune and 20% sag and was bottoming out too easily. I tried adding HSC but to stop the bottoming I had to add enough that the fork started feeling a little harsh. So I tried adding air pressure and more OTT, now the fork has feels good for initial sensitivity and mid stroke, but I am not getting full travel.

+edavis555 they probably mean with too much OTT you're riding deeper into your travel, so you're losing effective travel for shock absorption.

is 150lb body weight classify to light or heavy rider?

I've setted my Diamond with 110psi and 11,5 Full rotation on OTT... I Lost only 7mm of travel but my sag still with 22%...

Hello. I bought a second hand bike with a dvo Diamond... But when i ride, i notice a loud noise, like a knock when It rebound (high speed) top out.

Hey man, did you find out how to fix that? I’ve got the same problem. As far as I know it could be bushes or lacking oil or maybe my ott setting. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

@@Jay-zy5dt hello... I found a solution... It's a rebound shim stack issue... I disassembled and sanded the shims and the noise is gone

Ah right! Thanks mate, I’ll try that. Did you get the noise when you just quickly lifted the front wheel off the ground? I don’t notice it when riding but hear a clunk when I pull on the bars when I’m off the bike. Cheers tho, better take the forks apart and start messing!

No bro, my wieght is 57KG, having problem to fine tune yet.. losing around 10mm travel with 90PSI. Sag is only 5% 😂 still playing around with OTT yet having the same issue either full open or close
