Drongo didn't even look when he last commanded his huss at 16:33 , but his huss down the bottom killed like 10 vils, his opponent sent them BACK to the hunts without even checking, and didn't look for a full minute. By the time Drongo looked, his huss had wailed on every last vill, catching the last one going down when he finally looked. Really telling where people focus in RTS's and if they are even capable of playing such games at a high level. Suffice to say, his opponent was not worthy.

Yeah this is the ameture section, there are two sections in this tourney the pro section and this one, the armature section is sort of just a fun tourney where well known people in the community go head to head, there are certainly some good players in the amateur section like pro that just didn’t make the cut for the pro division, like Kevinitalien. If I had to bet on who wins the amateur championship I would definitely guess Kevin, I think the lowest ELO player in the amateur league is GKS shaman he’s like 1200-1300 elo I think

I grew up with this game, but the older I've gotten the less I've been able to play it. At this point, I don't play it at all, but I religiously watch your videos. It's nice to feel still involved with the community even if I don't play anymore. You are hands down the best AOE content creator. I'm really looking forward to you covering AOE4 and everything else you put out in the future

Hey Aussie. If you're reading this, I recommend adding the Military Reforms in your deck. It's an Age I card that speeds up your Halberdiers by 20%. This will make your Halberdiers more versatile as they can catch up to Ranged Infantry, and maybe even raid. Also, don't be afraid to combine Halberdiers and Ruyters. Ruyters aren't sturdy enough to protect Skirmishers and Artillery from Cavalry, they have poor siege and don't deal with Musketeers well, all weaknesses the Halberdier can cover.

I really miss his Aoe 3 content :(

dutch are prety scary once they get the eco going, even with only 50 vills the banks pay out big time and ruyters are kinda op vs anything, plus skirms counter musks so musk rocket wont be enough

dutch can be scary late game. i find it best to hit them earlyish, because 9/10 times i get out ecoed if i wait too long.

Im back on the city after years of not playing aoe, but as i rember Dtch midgame is scary, they are my main Civ and if i survive the earlY game was very hard for me to loose, only good player with excellent micro( better then mine) could stop, ryters mass + falcs or Ryters +swizpikes + skim and irember they are very flexble too in mid game.Thats why brit players try force it early maybe, Semi FI in my opinion gets stopped by a good dtuch player, ofc if they fail on this mission you run them down with musks rokets and gg

Banks, man. 4000 HP makes them hard to destroy, even more so with the Dutch East India Company card.

Yo Aussie, you should try mining gold early on transition to buy 300 wood from the market, you can get your first bank + houses somewhat faster
