Hello Martin, what a fun ride, good dirt roads...I am not a fan of sand.... Good fun and a worthy cause.... David....Adelaide/Kilburn...Triumph Scrambler 1200x
Nice video. Would like to see more of that awesome DR650 :-) AS
That's Sausage's fav sand track. He's taken a few riders out to that. There are also some great silo art out that way.

Next one we both are turning right onto the Simpson.
Looking forward to doing roads like these when I get the sidecar fitted.

That would be great. Those roads would be perfect for it.

For sure, just up the hill from you in Coromandel Valley.
Good video how have you found the Motoz GPS off road? I have a Transalp which is 3 weeks old today I have done 2,500 kms on it just got back from my first camping trip on the stock tyres they were better than I expected on easy gravel roads and forestry roads but the rear is starting to wear already. So I am starting to think about new tyres I do like the Motoz tyres I want something that will be better than the stock tyres off road as I am not that confident off road and need all the help I can get. I do probably 95% on sealed roads but on the occasion that I venture off onto unsealed loose gravel and sandy tracks that we have here in WA I will probably be alone so want something capable. I was thinking of the Adventure rear and a dual ventre front but maybe the GPS would be better suited for what I do. I am an older rider 65 this year 😁 Thanks Peter

Gear on the road. Not so good in the mud, but if you are after 50:50 tyre ride then as a 50:50 tyre and you will be fine.

Hey toffee I have the adventure rear and dualventure front on my Tenere 700 and I love them but I do a lot more off road than you, and air them down a bit when I do. They are ok on road but not ideal, you may want to go something more 50/50 as hard packed suggests, or better still, do more off road riding! Good luck.

I have Adv gps rear (50/50 direction) and dv (tubeless type with tube fitted) on my Suzuki 650. A great combo imo. I just got back from the Flinders and they performed well again. 1150km and about 700km of dirt.
