Yeah. Making fun of disabilities is funny. That's why most of my jokes are about southern Americans and how most of their passion ended when they found out that marrying your sister is illegal. Well, except in Alabama.

He laughs now about the goldust gimmick but when he jumped to wcw and came out as seven and talked crap about being a silver fester and talked about how he hated the goldust gimmick with a passion and Vince could shove it up his@$$. He was tired of being the joke of the locker room and crowd

My Dad and I would be doubled over laughing watching Raw 😂 I started watching wrestling with my Dad when I was just a little thing still in diapers back in 88-89’. I LOVED it so much for so many years, especially the Attitude era. I stopped watching around 2009-2010. Too many of the old wrestlers were gone and too many news faces to keep up with, plus the storylines just weren’t doing it for me 🤷🏼♀️
The Tourette’s golddust should have lasted longer, his appearance on Howard Stern and all the promos he did were hilarious

fans watching that love the character like me was scared seeing him being electrocuted , it looked too real and yes he was funny in his promos following but it got old fast his fans wanted to see him wrestle and win was met with losses cause of the gimmickly twitch which was starting to turn goldust into a laughing stock

That's fuckin amazing. I try not to feel bad about things like this being made fun of because I know that oftentimes there are many with the condition (such as yourself) or even a good friend of mine who will be the type everyone loves to see because they're like "idc, it's fucking hilarious!" At the same time I'm sure there's no shortage of people with Tourette's who would be on the opposite side of that and be upset because it makes people not recognize the shittiness of the condition or how it's not all just funny expletives and obnoxious shit, but the key I suppose is to recognize when these things happened, who did them, why they did them, and whether there was anything malicious behind. Dustin just wanted to be funny and television back then did nothing to teach people what the condition is really like for most, so what could you expect. /rant(?)
Now that he is getting up in age, dude looks SO much like his father.

Well when you have actual people that have tourettes telling how they saw goldust as a character that help them overcome and laugh at it instead of feeling bad, I would argue that is not, I guess it depends on your outlook of life
If never gets old to hears Vince McMahon impressions they always sound just like him😂😂
This was awesome, I watched this back 3 times in a row and loved and laughed so much and idk how many times I rewinded it back. It was just hilarious and you really tell Dustin loved this so much.
Nobody: Dustin: Have you heard of Jerry Springer ?
What I love so much about Dustin, and what I think he learned so well from Dusty, is that pro wrestlers are both athletes and artists. It's a double helix, intertwined and unbreakable, the DNA of pro wrestling. The ability to tell a story with your body, and to make people believe it. I know Dustin may be approaching the end of his career but I really think he's got a long and really amazing future ahead of him as a trainer/mentor if that's the role he chooses in retirement. Great story and Dustin is a great person.
Dustin Rhodes look so much better today.
Ever since I first saw gold dust all them years ago I've always laughed at the weird and whack stuff Dustin is in my eyes a legend
Dustin Rhodes impressions are on point he emulated Vince Mcmahon's voice and even his own father's voice quite accurately.
My friend was coming home from Disney and had a massive Stitch teddy and the airhosts thought she was “special” so now for the next 8 hours she had to play “special” 😂
I can't stop watching his old videos.
I remember being at that Raw back in January 2003 in DC. That was the night Evolution formed. And seeing him get electrocuted was insane.
Dustin is a Legend and master of his craft
His Vince impression was awesome!

This angle has a spot on the Mount Rushmore of funniest in wrestling history. Makes me laugh everytime. 😅
Fuck yeah long live goldust he was so mysterious and fun to watch as a kid
Stone Cold once said if you ain’t in the business to be the champ then why are you in the business. I would argue if you’re entertaining, then you get to be on tv more. If you’re on tv more, you get to get over with the crowd more and get longevity. If you get longevity, then you sell more merch. If you doing all that, then you’re making more money. Dustin owned the Golddust character and made money:-)
