    @@brucebanner52 Nothing about the original comment's sentence structure, nor you counter example, is gendered. As for being embarrassed to talk that way, languages evolve, slang changes, and "it's giving ___ vibes" is actually more grammatically correct than a lot of how the phase is being used now. The original comment uses a casual tone and relatively new slang, where as yours uses a much more academic tone, but neither is gendered and in the context of a KZread comment both are perfectly acceptable English from any gender. I don't know why you saw the need to categorically degrade women, insult the commenter, try to attack their gender, get pedantic about grammar, and attempt to gatekeep grammatical structures by gender, all because of someone's attempt at making a humorous remark on KZread. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Personally I'd suggest "live and let live" as something for you to try, because they aren't harming anyone.

    Levitating onto a rock and levitating onto a fast-moving sand worm are two very different things. You'd have to time it perfectly, reaching the exact height at the exact right moment: too low and you fly into the mouth, too high and you fly right over. And they would have to make that decision within a few seconds of seeing a colossal sand worm for the first time, as it was charging right at them. Amidst a sand storm. I don't think it would work.

    My takeaway from this is that the sand irritation on the worms seems so strong when their scales are opened that they are willing to forego their territorial nature. Naturally, they don't even go near each other.

    It’s not stated in the movie, but by the time of Shaddam IV the Sardaukar are vastly inferior than the Fremen (once they organized) in terms of fighting skills. They let their hubris consume them and made them considerably weaker

  • @jonny-b4954

    @jonny-b4954

    Yeah, that's shown in the movie. As the two armies clash the Sardaukar are just being annihilated. Fremen are rolling through them. Though, they may have fought better if their lines and formations hadn't been sent into disarray by atomics then sandworms.

    @@HubiKoshiUnlike the Fremen though the Sardaukar are essentially trained from birth to be super warriors, whilst the Fremen were just living, in admittedly harsh conditions. When House Corrino stops dicking around they manage to get the Sardaukar up to Fremen level by book 3, but they aren't allowed to expand their army further by law and Fara'dn Corrino doesn't really want war.
