This Feyd and his Giedi Prime is such a pleasure to marvel at, a visual masterpiece that fits Harkonnens so well. I probably wouldn't like the movie as much and the first part of it is lowkey boring on rewatch, but when Feyd comes in it all shifts, he's the highlight of the movie. Makes me so interested in that planet, I wish there was more. I wish HR Giger was still alive to lend his imagination more for this movie, but my babygirl Feyd-Rautha was perfect anyway

I was thinking about this and I believe that the screenwriters made a mistake to kill the obvious bad guys at the end of the second movie because the part three feels somewhat redundant now. I didn’t like the emperor’s daughter- too little even by the way of introducing a character for the next movie (and I am not impressed with the actress’ performance either, but this is subjective). Apart from that, second part is spectacular with little gems like the scene where the boy hero and his girlfriend dance their walk in the dunes.

Austin Butler's Feyd was the best part of the second movie - debating whether i should go for a third time to watch it just to focus on his scenes - it's been a while since i saw such a good villain on screen. Shame the short screen time. A waste by Denis.

I can’t help but think that the success of this movie… This time around is attributable to the commitment to the source material I hope Hollywood pays attention to that, and they quit messing with the beloved stories.

Wonderful, using the music to blend all of the scenes together and set the perfect mood, though I thought it would end well with Feyd - Rautha saying "You fought well, Atreides."
