I love that Steve remembers cartoon songs!! I don’t know the Super Chicken one but my brain is filled with a lot more! 🤪

Omg when this Batman Lego toy first came out our son wanted it so bad very expensive then. He still loves batman but you see how much you invest to not have anymore cause they grow out of it but we donate to our friend that is raising her grandkids. Clothes , shoes, toys and all. Great find 👍

The black base is an offset umbrella base. 59.99 on amazon

My husband took a locksmith coarse like 45 years ago and we just donated the machine and a small box of blank keys to our Goodwill. He was certified to cut keys and tumble the locks. You two make my day, keep up the good work of saving our landfills. It’s really a shame what people throw away when there are so many people that are in need.

"Super Chicken", I've never heard of that cartoon before, I'll have to look it up.

Shredder bin slides into the front and the shredding blades go on top. I had on just like it till the motor died. Must have shredded too much junk mail. Also the best buy date is when store can no longer sell. But the shelf life is different.

It’s a key machine. If it works you can make a fortune making Keyes at flea markets. It just happened that my boss just retired and he has a load of blank car, house and lock Keyes...

Usually the date is just the shelf life. Doesn't really mean its expired. I mean I would drink them.

You are correct. There is no government entity that sets expiration dates ,they are set by the companies that produce the products and are used more to ensure stores keep their product rotating than to show that a product will soon go bad! Canned goods can be eaten for YEARS after their 'expiration' date as long as they can is not bulging or dented. The product will slowly lose it's nutritional quality over time, but not for a long time! Unpreserved products such as meat, dairy, and seafood SHOULD be good for up to three days after their sell by date, but make sure to check it carefully for yourself!

Definitely a key making machine! Used to make them! And yes the wheel on the end is to clean off the sharp edges on the new key. Very good. It is old but usually don’t die very often! Just prolly needs some cleaning and TLC!

I used to use one of those when I worked in a hardware store. The bearings sound rough might want to put some grease on them. Wear safety glasses when cutting keys as it will throw bits of metal around!

BTW, Steph, I've been thinking... When you find all those cute mugs with broken handles you like to keep them for candles but then you also worry about the sharp edges bcuz of the g-kids. You should get a cheap handheld angle grinder so you can even put those rough edges. You seem like you certainly have the know how to use such a tool. I used to use one on natural stone & marble. They are really easy to use & are quite useful for those that are crafty like you. Just a thought. If you don't like my idea, no biggie. Again, just a thought. Hope y'all have a great day. 😊

My son is on the autism spectrum. Higher functioning. Keys and locks are his thing. He would be over the moon, in absolute HEAVEN to get a key grinder. 😺

I need to make copies of my keys. It would definitely come in handy. Great find guys 👍

It's for cutting keys and the spinning brush is for deburring the finished key. one blue knob holds original 2nd blue knob holds the blank to be cut.

It's a key cutter. I used to have it done @ the hardware store all the time. Now there are computerised machines in the stores where you just pick your key, drop in the money, & it does it makes it while you watch.

The Batman playset that you found is cool. Batman is my favorite Superhero. Back in the 1990s, I used to watch the Batman Animated Series on the WB Network. I have the Batman Animated Series Volumes 1-3 Boxsets on DVD and I watch them from time to time. Holy dumpster diving Batman! EYL

Those are my FAV San Pelligrino drinks !!!! They’re delicious !!!!

Might want to get the key maker looked at. The grinding wheels should be turning way faster than that. At that speed it wouldn't cut the key nor buff it up. I ran an identical one working at a local True Value store here in Wisconsin. Stay warm. It's -25 here!!

That is definitely a key machine used one for 8 years in a lock shop in Portland OR right next to the Chinatown Gateway in city center. HPC is a good brand. If you don't know a good ( read that ALOA member ) locksmith look up locksmiths online and contact them about buying it.
