Steph, the nice boxes the heat stylers came in, I took out all the inside cardboard, covered with pretty paper and us in my craft room for storage. They are very sturdy and now so cute!! EYL!!

I'm sure I can't be the only one who almost cries when the boxes with magnetic closures are left behind! Us crafters love them lol Maybe we need a "save the boxes" movement 🙂

Maybe because they knew the conditions from which the stuff came 😷 Not everything is donatable.

What’s not to agree with; would it be better to fill up the landfills? These retailers are irresponsible and should be doing the donations themselves.

Thank you steve amd steph for donating these things so that others might get to enjoy them. This score feels like an eviction to me. As sad as that is, i am glad something positive might still be able to come of it. You 2 made that possible 🙂... Ps, not trying to pass judgement on whoever dumped this stuff. I have been in similar circumstances and can attest to how stressful and scary it can be. Last thing on your mind is sorting through your items so they can be donated. Will you guys do any more of your live dumpster dives? I miss the good old days!

Yes it is sad, I also do dumpster diving in Oklahoma and I have seen people's stuff from evictions thrown away and it is like why are the laws so unjust. This is why I give stuff away when I can

Oooh one of my favourite dumpsters you go to

The flying pixie is sooo cool! My grand daughters have them. You charge them up (charge lasts forever) turn them on, stand them up on your palm and they take off flying. Omgosh I play with them every time I go over lol. Also those things are $30 at Christmas

The boxes for the hair styling items are very cool it you had saved them they could have been covered with some paper. If you buy that kind of box they are expensive

I was just thinking the exact same thing... A couple of years ago i wouldnt have necessarily thought that. But in the age of COVID, it just makes me so sad. Someone is gonna be so happy because some people probably didnt get too much for x-mas...we are a throw away civilization, right? Geesh, toys help children have joy and learn. Once a month, my children got to get whatever toys we could afford...my daughters favorite doll was a second hand baby doll...so amazing!
