Recently, passed by a dumpster at my local stores...found a office depot work pro chair.. with the help off my mom, pulled it out..we got all the pieces, assembled it and it works fine 👍

I love when you show what all you got at the end, even though you show it when you get it sometimes. It’s just fun to see the stuff again and Steve’s reaction to it as well.

The cards make great disposable mixers and spreaders for epoxy and such. My father actually used some to create signs and billboards for his model railroading with their existing names and designs. Cut up and painted they were useful all over the display/setup

So I wanted to let you guys know I'm case you're interested: I just left BB&B, pulled out and left a new white chair that was spray painted. Can be used if you can clean it, use a cover, or reupholster. Big item: in the recycling bin, at the bottom is a therapedic air mattress painted red, a lot of paint. I couldn't tell if it was functional but if it is, it's worth grabbing. It is extremely heavy, though. One of you will probably have to climb into the dumpster to be able to lift it out. Had to let you know! I hate seeing things go to waste!

I love watching your videos. Tonight, my gray and white kitty, Dusty Blue, is sleeping on my right arm as I type this. He loves being near me. My other cat, Bing, is sleeping somewhere on a heat vent on the floor. It would be too hot for me, but with his long hair, he will sleep for hours on that thing. It’s really cold outside tonight like around 4F. Another reason I love your videos because you are in a warm climate doing the things you love to do. Take care and EYL!!! 😸😊😻

Steph, I cannot believe the racket you make digging through the bons! Also can't believe the time you take to examine things. I do a brief once-over and then get it in my car ASAP! That way if I'm busted I already have it. Also, if it turns out it's not useful, I just put it in my own trash can.

That’s a score!!! Everything is with the pet safe kitty scoop, you order trays separately, disposable. That’s about 140$!!! Way to go! Love mine!

The tray for the litter box is a disposable (think like a ink cartridge for a printer). It is basically a waxed cardboard box, preloaded with a crystal litter. The idea is that the machine does all the work. You don't have to touch anything gross, except a wipe down of the unit when you change out the litter tray. Basically all you have to do is put the lid on the litter tray, tape it for security and throw the whole thing out. Ultimately the litter tray is the consumable that they make money on. The litter system works incredibly well. Some have "McGivered" there own tray to reduce cost. Some cat people don't like the crystal litter and think it isn't good for cats. I don't know about that. Some cats have trouble adjusting to a new type of litter, if they have used clay all of their lives. That said, there is No Aroma! The crystals absorb the urine and desicate the feces. Depending on your cat the cartridge lasts 3 to 4 weeks. It requires the least amount of human effort to maintain of any litter box I've seen and is great as long as you don't have any issues with what I've referenced above. Oh, and if you have more than two cats you will want more than one litter box which applies to all types of litter boxes. Hope the info helps. EYL and have a great weekend.

I’m on disability and the only one bringing in money right now. My husband and son are going to a tech school to learn a trade.

Two days in a row I found useful things in the garbage can near my house. One was a twin air mattress. All I got to do is get patches on it and get electric pump if holes. The other thing is a side table with a drawer, probably older Because it's wood. All I got to do to make that look nice is strip all that paint off and it will beautiful again.

I wish I could dumpster dive. I volunteer with brain injury people and vets who live on extremely limited budgets. I can't afford health insurance but some of these people can't even afford the basic necessities. So I try to get anything that I can for them and pass it along. Namaste Lala 💙😉🐞🥰💜

You are right the enamel cookware and heavy frying pans are high quality. Temptation cookware is the enamel cookware with the designs on them. They are collectors' items.

My daughter and her GF have one for their 2 cats, and they LOVE it. They had to help them with it for a couple of days, but after that the cats even loved it. And there are very obvious ways we know. One being Bailey the older cat was trained as a younger cat to use the toilet and usually does, but now she uses this new thing. 🐈🐱🐈‍⬛

I was just wondering if when you started dumpster diving if you ripped all the bags apart to see if you missed anything. But I can tell your eye has gotten very good at spotting what is in them. You know which ones to look at which ones to pass on. Of course I can’t see what you see but it just struck me and I just was wondering. I guess I’m curious. You really helping me today. I’m sad and I don’t know why, I’m restless and don’t understand why. I am recovering enough for my surgery that I was able to go out twice this week. I haven’t had to pay the big price I used to pay for doing a lot in one day. Because that’s usually how it works with fibromyalgia if I do too much I’m down for several days. I have a situation my bed,bath,and body store is officially closing mid wk and i have retrieved 8 sets of moen and koehler bathroom accessories last tuesday~~towel rack/tp holder, etc~~and i mean in each set is 5pcs and even at clearance each set came out to $50/more:) in addition to the great finds, today i picked up 6 window dressing hardware displays which came out to 26 high end iron/metal decorative drapery rods with their coordinating rings and hardware. The only thing I hate was i did not bring my battery operated screw driver because now i need to get rid of the 6 long and heavy wood displays. it sucked using a screwdriver in 30 degree weather even with gloves so after removing 5 of the 26, i just threw everything in the vehicle for later:( i used to live in san diego and i miss the swap meets. how much would you charge and of course i will be giving them to those who is in need but i got to make that $$$ too

Ok Steph... had a little heart attack when I didn’t see if you rescued the little animal ball. It kind of looked like a hamster or some other small animal roll about ball. Please tell me you didn’t just resume the Harry Potter journal and the ball was broken beyond repair.
